My answer is to get both!! I am bible hoarder, I mean collector!! A few years ago I started bible art journaling. But I am also an avid note taker. My solution became to have several bibles. I started exclusively keeping my art bible for art. Then I got two more journaling bibles, Journal the Word and She Reads Truth. Both specifically for note taking. One is for sermons only and one is only for bible studies. Then one day hopefully the right bible will wind up in the hands of just the right child and the things highlighted and notated will speak to that child.
Thanks for sharing the differences with these two. I purchased the incourage Bible because it had more devotionals and the store I was at didn’t have the she reads truth in soft cover...lol. However, I still find myself still wanting the she reads truth one as well. I really enjoy the devotionals that I’ve read in the incourage Bible...it is really very lovely and I really appreciate how the contributing writers have shared “real life” relatable experiences in them.
I have the hardcover In-Courage (after seeing your review), and I have the hardcover She Reads Truth bible (also after your review!). I then went on to purchase, thank God on sale, the Poppy Linen, Genuine Leather and Navy Leather touch She Reads Truth bibles! I love them all but thank you for showing us the differences! I think they are both beautiful bibles for women. And the translation is so easy to understand!
Both of these bible are great! I do my scripture writing in the (in)courage bible and that is working out good for me. The She Reads Truth website has great individual studies that I use with that bible. Thanks for the nice review!

The CSB Woman Study Bible is different from the SRT because it is a Study Bible with Study notes over the verses. The SRT is only a devotional Bible sis. So now having this information it should help you decide which one will be of more use to you on your Spiritual Journey. If you need a Bible to help aid in through your study time. Well grab the study bible for sure. "Plus I just love those flowers on the cover and in the inside" but...but if you're looking for a bible to just read and drive into each day recording your prayers reflection thought etc. The SRT is a must. Have you ever heard of Joni Earickson Tada? She is a wonderful Christian woman with many challenges but she with the God on her side eventually conqueres them. She is a wonderful person, wife, mother,artist, noted public speaker.
I want more bibles! I love these two! I also want the battlefield of the mind bible and the big illustratiors bible for my creative side! I want to use each for different reasons, oh my my want list is growing so fast. I also love using a writing journal and a creative journal... If Jesus doesn't come in my life time I will have bibles for my grandkids that has a big but if me in them.

You mentioned being able to use paints in the In Courage Bible without gesso. Can you do the same in the She Reads Truth Bible? Was that in the soft covers or were you talking about the hard covered Bibles. Thanks.
The paper is the same in both softcover and hardcover sis... and yes you can use acrylic paint but very lightly never use a lot of water. Please make sure it's dry before closing the Bible

@@Jodie_M there's nothing different when it comes to devotionals besides reading mostly a short inspirational story about that writers life. Mostly they reflect over that part of the scripture were it's located at.
I have collected bibles for forty years, including the ßcofield and they have enabled me to find myself. I think the project is worth it, and I encourage you to collect as many as you like. I have a fear that our govt. Might çlose book sellers down and take bibles away. I saw what has happened since the COVID crisis and I would not be surprised if this ever happens. May we fight for our religious freedoms.

Hahaha... it would be me. I know, I love the feeling too with the soft cover, but my RA is hurting me so much the hardcover is easier to hold onto, I have to constantly remind myself of that. When I say different, I mean the pages, the thickness of the paper is different. I JUST got my others in!! I gotta spend some money on fun stickers for my Gardens to start growing.

Would you agree that the only thing that would warrant calling the SRT Bible a study Bible is the reading plan with the Scriptures for deeper reading? It doesn’t have Study notes or cross references, correct? Whereas the inCourage Bible seems to have more devotional aspects.
Cat woods actually I looked up the fonts BEFORE you even mentioned it. I do that each time you show a Bible cause I’m wondering if I can be interested. No need to “want” when fonts are too small. Bible printers if you read this take notice!

@@csprays264 no I totally won't rave about them if they did😉... as I said in the video in this Bible SRT I was using my (Papermate Flair's) which are a marker tip they did not bleed through soooo my favorite pilot G Tex or golden in this bible 😂
Oh no for some reason that part got edited out I'm sorry no wonder I'm confused here. 😂 man I wish that part was left in so other people will know it handles the Paper Mate flares just fine so any super thin Ultra tips like the microns and the pilot G text they will be amazing in this Bible
Its my every day devotional bible and I use it for normal journaling... It's a bible for studying not art mediums it's not being sold as a (JOURNALING) Bible. I don't understand why so many think all bibles should fit all their needs. (IMO) know which bible want & need before buying any bible... Both are AMAZING sis and they are both 8 size font. For me personally the SRT because it's not so tall but thicker 😉😂 I love my Chucky Monkey's 😻
In courage is a 9 point font and the other is an 8 font. Hoping for large print in them!

There never missing look in the footnotes at the bottom of the page 👍 but no nothing missing here
The SRT text is wayyy lighter and the pages are thin. ( JMO)
Its my every day devotional bible and I use it for normal journaling... It's a bible for studying not art mediums it's not being sold as a (JOURNALING) Bible. I don't understand why so many think all bibles should fit all their needs. (IMO) know which bible want & need before buying any bible... That's why I share so many bible review to help guide you all find one that fits all your needs.
