This is beautiful :) Please make a videos for Evil Lynn, Hordak and Shadow Weaver :)
So true I love that show
Original was the best
They should have never ended that He-Man show. It was the best one made, even better than the 80s one. and I grew up in the 80s.
Damn, your Statement is Gospel.
100% Agreed
Instead we got that Shit Show on netflix!!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
True, I loved the 80s one, but the 2002 is the best in my opinion
It had better animation than the 80s show
This season took a dark turn when it found out that King HSSS would actually DEVOUR people. He was about to eat Evil-Lynn.
He ate Zodac's brother and Kobra Kahn planned to have King Hiss eat Queen Marleena too.
Man, if we had gotten a third or fourth season and King Hiss came back most likely he would've been slightly depowered and we see Hordak coming into play also and maybe a REALLY GOOD She-Ra 👍🏻
I really wish we'd have seen a third season
As someone born in the Year of the Snake, I've always loved reptiles growing up & King Hiss was the one villain I actually rooted for
King Hiss is one of my favourite villains from the Masters of the Universe (2002). You guys should do breakdown of He-Man's Snake armour, it is one of the armours he ever wore during his fight against King Hiss and his Snakemen.
The way i would do King hiss and the snake men in my he-man reboot is be the offspings and children of serpos as Serpos would be a cosmic horror the same with horde prime and the unnamed one and would setting in the Mountains where she would give birth to the snake men and the first being born is king hiss as her second in command and her first born and would've had kevin conroy to voice him had he been alive
The art in the Thumbnail is by Me ! And Jesse Heagy on colors.
Hey Kevin! Your King Hiss art is beyond awesome! We tried to do reverse image search quiet a few times to figure out the real owner of the art because we give credits in the descript everytime, but it was sending us to a twitter page which mentioned 3 different arts, and yours was one of them! We couldn't track. Thanks for the comment. We have updated our description!
@@MarvelousVideos much appreciated. 😀
He-Man and the Masters of The Universe 2002 was the best he-man series ever
Agreed. They fleshed out the characters more, the masters weren't just guest appearance heroes but regulars, the villains were actually more menacing and less campy, and the mythos of Eternia's history was explored. Would love to have seen a third season.
Yes!!!
@@cartoonsentinel4256 I don’t know why they stopped it was a great show one of my favorites of all time
Skeletor was actually a threat in this show
Agreed.
I actually re-watched it last year, and unfortunately I feel that they didn't explore very well Evil Lynn's backstory and we never get to see Hordak battle He-man
The Snake Men are a great continuation of the Robert E. Howard source material that indirectly influenced the creation of Masters Of The Universe. Great video!
Really? Interesting. I know Robert Howard invented Conan and Solomon Kane. I can see the similarities.
This He-Man series should have been revised not those 2 Netflix's abominations.
The kid version is okay.
So true!!
I wonder how what a Filmation version of King Hiss would have been like.
probably very toned down compared to 200X era. Let’s be honest, Filmation could be slapstick, not that it wasn’t amazing
Someday, somehow, someone must make a CGI movie of He-Man and the MOTU. The Mike Young and comic book style characters. If we think cartoon King Hiss is frightening, just imagine him in CGI!!
Guys, the reason King Hiss had a more human appearance than the other Snakemen was because he was born a human! I think his mother was called Princess Zilhora and his father was King Grayskull! I don't know why he turned against his father but he sided with the snake god Serpos and became king of the Snakemen. Snake-Face who has a Medusa-like appearance was also born human and the plan for season three of the show was for Man-At-Arms to be permanently transformed into a Snakeman himself.
I never did see all the episodes of this rebooted series and I never heard about his mother or his father being King grayskull
I recall in an interview they mentioned that Fisto was going to fill Man-at-Arms' position after he went perma snake and that the big villian of season 3 was gonna be the Hordak, though I think they said they wouldn't have been able to use She Ra
@@shadowboss675 It wasn't in the series, it was in the notes for the King Grayskull prequel show that never got made. Just letting you know a lot of info for MOTU in general has never shown up on screen and only been available in behind the scenes material, did you know Keldor and Randor have never been confirmed as brothers onscreen, only in the supplemental info released with the action figures!
@@Writh811 Actually it was Clamp Champ who was going to replace Man-At-Arms when he became a snake and Fisto was going to be revealed as the biological father of Teela. If you go back and watch the episode where the Sorceress narrates her flashback to how she met her husband you'll notice he always wore bandages on his face and his right hand was never seen. I like the Revelation version of the story or any version of the story where Man-At-Arms is her biological father.
I never heard that king greyskull was his father.
I liked the idea of King Hiss being Teela's father. I know its a strange idea but it would have been very original and great twist if done right. This version of He-Man is so under rated, it should have gone on so much longer. It was pure gold, that was mismanaged.
Or at least her ancestor since ling Hisss is supposed to be ancient
But yeah i'd love to see that
The Snakemen would EAT people! Eat people. I thought that was disgusting. I still think this us the BETTER HE MAN SHOW.
They only showed King Hiss do it though
King hiss was my favorite villain. His appearance from 2003 era make me jawdropping how scary he was when first time watch it. This is orochimaru before orochimaru
King Hiss came long after my MOTU playing days were over. So I was really introduced to him through the 2000s series. They did a great job making him a fascinating character.
Distinctive that's highly questionable?
I say that He-Man and King his both came from the same place.
Conan the barbarian!
They had created a comic of the unproduced episode 40 of the cartoon series, based on Dean Stefan's original screenplay.... In the comic "Captured" that shared the continuity of the 2002 He-Man Master of the Universe Skeletor retakes Snake Mountain, King Hiss recovers from his injuries after his defeat at the hands of Zodak, and Man-At-Arms is transformed back into a Snake Man.
King Hiss, Snake God.
Best he-man series for me. I wish it continued for another couple of seasons. Would love to see hordak battle against snakemen. Hordak against skeketor. Hordak against he-man. Skeletor + snakemen vs hordak. Skeletor + heman vs hordak + snakemen.
I have the dvd of this series, and I have watched it, and I enjoyed this show when it aired, and back when I watched on dvd also.
King hiss is goofy but he got a helluva story.
Could have added in who was King Hiss's creator "The Un-Named One"
The Un-Named One did get an action figure released through the MattyCollector line. Turns out he was a member of Orko's race.
Looks like an amazing cartoon
Weirdest crossover yet: Dr. Strange and He-Man. Do not know why but I think this would be a really interesting crossover.
Masters of the Universe should be made and about Skeletors origin and taking over Snake Mountain then Castle Greyskull but in the end was defeated by He-Man and his team. A second film would be Hordack as the MAIN villan. He-man would have to join forces with Skeletor to defeat him. Since it's an original 80's show it should have different worlds they could go to to find more advance technology. Worlds like The Thundercats and Voltrons world that could tie in with Battlecats origin. Then you could have some crossover fims with that story.
Kiss hiss is awesome and I love his origin in the mini-comic book 📖 and comic books and TV series, I would love to know more about the snake men in the masters of the universe
I have seen so many characters like King Hiss and Orochimaru riding atop the head of a giant snake. That would be a great ride.
Tell me he doesn't sound like the 80's Cobra Commander.
Oh wow awesome character
The reign of Eternia is Hissss….
How?
@@gamoratitan Just like that
@@movietower6095 He's not too powerful.
This show of he man was the best one better than 80's show and new one in 2022.season 3should come where hordak is Villan.animation industry should look into it.
Reminds me of Conan the barbarian movie. If you go in to do a he man movie... Take the elements from Conan movie..
the creators of the 2002 version of He-Man NEED to get back together, & make another 2 seasons or more😁
I wanted to see Hordac appear.
As cool as everything here is. Nothing is cooler than when villains clash. I was soooooo looking for a fight between Skeletor and King Hiss.
Sounds like this reimagining needs some reimagining.
What was the 82 bit tune in the background of the video please? The music does not appear to be listed in the video's description.
King hiss is genuinely terrifying in the 2002 show
Imagine if GI-Joe and He-Man had a crossover by merging Serpentor and King Hiss
I had one of the Original King Hiss Toys at one time
I just bought the book that was a collection of the newspaper strips. It made me laugh seeing the way they introduced King hiss. The green skin tone yellow belly red cape in the fact that he looked more like a lizard had him looking like King k rool from Donkey Kong Country
It'd be shame if the G.I. Joe reptile people (the ones behind Cobra) and these reptile people are never connected in some crossover, even if just unofficially (like how DC/Marvel writers did often back in the 70s.
You guys should do a few videos on all of the Characters both good & evil from the cult classic 90’s cartoon Mighty Max starring Rob Paulson as Mighty Max….. PLEASE???
I was never aware of a he man reboot this early 2000s version looked pretty good thank for the info on this version of matters of the universe with king hiss
It was great. You can buy the DVD set
I hope he appears in He Man and The Masters of the Universe on Netflix
They would mess it up big time he would be transsexual or something
Well,who should voice King Hiss?
@@milutinstankovic4638 How about Starscream (Steve Blum)
Yeah totally
@@the4thtribe709 😂😂😂
It's interesting that the later versions of the characters have a lot less line detail! ; - ) but am I not guilty of the same
02:37. Anyone know where to get the figures with the removable helmets?
Can you make a video on sy-clone?
G.I. JOE teaming up with HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Along with SHE-RA THE PRINCESS OF POWER AND TRANSFORMERS VS COBRA , THE DECEPTICONS AND THE SNAKE 🐍 MEN , SKELTOR And HORDAK.
Do a review of zoar horokoth serpos
🐍🐍🐍
KING HSSSS
Come on, "Fist-O" ? xD
"King Radar"
King hiss could get foes such as thanos to bend a knee.
So the main three evil factions of he man work like rock paper scissors
also SPOILERS BELOW
Cgi he man snakemen had no personality they almost all blended together heck zombies from other series had more differences between them not mention we never saw king hiss face once in the whole second series I know they were used as a plot device buy wasted potential is still wasted
In the Cgi Animated Core Motu; King Hiss was seen battling King Grayskull in a painting on the wall in a flashback where a young Adam was practicing with King Randor. Prince Keldor even briefly talked about him. It was the whole "Sigil of Hiss" arc.
@@chipjohnson9283 correct they talked about him but no clear image of him maybe a backshot it also wasn't clear anyway what was your opinion of this iteration of snakemen?
@@madzman7214 I liked the Snakemen overall, but wishing they had more individually character development such as 200x General Rattlor, Kobra Khan, etc....being dead, they didn't have much to offer besides eternal suffering and servitude. If a few had remained, they could have developed into such characters, but happy that we got to see them nonetheless! Would have been mind blowing had they introduced the Green Goddess for once on screen! Lol.
@@chipjohnson9283 agree for the green goddess but I want to see three-way battle between king hiss skeletor and hordak with the power with the heroes trying to stop them from destroying the universe the only question would they be titan size????
@@madzman7214 hordak
Everyone in eternia is buffed like they share same gym membership.
King hiss is villain of course💁🏻♂.
King hiss was a brilliant villain... With a super crappy action figure... I feel like they were the last run of the original series action figures and All of the snake men had some kind of cool play gimmick... But king hiss fell very short. Cobra kahn was such a great character his fig wasnt bad either ,squirts water, piss my mom off? yes please...
He treats is allies better???🤔. I think he just lured people into a false sense of friendship, that is just comfortable enough for them to drop their guard. He then devours them when they have warn out their usefulness. A true narcissist with a meal plan. He is a villain that gives his own special dash to the long con.
Kobra kahn freed him
King Piss…
Where is Queen Hiss?
There is no Queen Hiss
@@milutinstankovic4638 She goes by the name Hilary.
Sounds like a female president name, never heard of her
Loved the King Hssss in the cartoon but toys wise, disappointed made. 🤷🏻♂️🐍
Did you say the fictional cartoon snake king in the fictional cartoon world was kind of racist lol just messin
King Hiss related to the queen of England?
Unfortunately I think the narrator needs to do his research on pronunciation
People who complain about Teela upstaging He-Man in Revelations probably never watched the 2003 show, where Zodak was the one to defeat King Hiss and not He-Man. Twice.
Skeletor did NOT set him free! DO THE RESEARCH NUMB NUTZ!
