I'm a structural engineer and all of my coworkers and I are dying at Dan Snyder's cheapness in having handrails that aren't load bearing. There literally is no such thing as that.
@@shirtlessbanditc3268 it more or less one of those playschool houses that little kids play house in and fake cook lol. The fact it couldn't hold 8ish people is sad....Not to mention the staff yelled at the collapsed fans to, "Get the fuck off the field!" Not even the ones that got hurt recieved medical attention first, they were yelled at, berated, and then the professional team acted like children towards their problems being pointed out....
That is cheap, they couldn't even concrete the railing in. Good thing it was on the upper deck. So when you lean on railing on the upper deck it could fall off since they don't concrete in the railing.
As a former Public Relations employee with the WFT I can tell you that this stadium is an utter embarrassment. I used to deliver stats to team owners and in front of their “luxury suite” used to be buckets on the floor catching water coming in through the ceiling. Employees were forced to park in an often muddy field over a mile from the stadium and walk. Many of these employees were elderly game day staff who were handicapped and not allowed to park close to the stadium. This franchise is an utter mess and working on the inside helps you understand even more why
It's been a crap show for this team since the Reskins fallout. Since they're not going to the playoffs I hope when then announce the new name they completely renovate FedEx Field.
I can't imagine a more toxic work environment than the WFT front office. I heard from a staffer years ago that Snyder used to make the team president iron his clothes for him on road trips. What a f**king clown.
@@ryan1989 exactly tells you what shape the franchise is in. That asshole wouldn't sell the team at gun point. He was a cheap ass and the DC fans end up paying the price.
My son was offered 2 free tickets for the Washington-Detroit game at FedEx in 2019. I asked him these questions: Who are they playing (Detroit)? Do we have to pay for parking (Yes)? What temperature is it going to be (around 30 degrees)? Do you really want to go (NO)? So we watched RedZone that day instead with no regrets.

Literally Jalen Hurts ankle could’ve snapped after that railing incident. Inexcusable by the Washington football team to not provide any medical attention to fans that fell too.
I’ve been to I think 3 Ravens games that stadium is BEAUTIFUL easy access clean and modern one of the best. I’ve been lucky to see 2 games in the club level and 1 game in a suite
Jalen Hurts has always been a stand up guy. But was I the only one who noticed that dickhead camera guy try to kick one of the guys after they fell over the railing?
@@connordalrymple19 in defense of the cameraman, the raiing was on his leg; i think he just wanted to get free of it. but yeah looked like a dick move.
As a soccer fan, my mind went immediately to the crowd related tragedies of the 80s that saw dozens of people die due to faulty stadium design. This is a nightmare scenario waiting to happen.
Honestly tho haven't the nfl learned the lesson from the Hillsborough Disaster that killed 94 people on the day and later on another 3 it was the darkest day in European footballs history nearly 33 years later and there still has not been a single person prosecuted for the Disaster

I'm not sure people are fully appreciating just how freaking dangerous that railing situation is... some, if not most, of the costliest disasters in sports history have been caused by structural failure, and/or human crushes. For gods sake what if 20 fans fell over that instead of 8. Would the camera guy have survived?.... a fatality in an NFL stadium over something like this seems like it would be really REALLY bad for consumer confidence in the league as a whole... so... hopefully the ginger hammer does,.... y'know.... something about this.... maybe force danny boy to put some money into stadium repairs..... before someone gets killed
Honestly tho Hurts did the right thing that cheap bastard Dan Snyder needs to fix this fucking stadium before it kills someone and Hurts was lucky that railing didn't fall on him easily season ending injury could even permanently have ended his career
I was there a few years ago when the 49ers played the Redskins. It was raining and it was absolutely atrocious. By far one of the worst stadiums i have been to.
It was built between two eras of staduim designs, the classic bowl design and the angular modern designs that we see today. much like Jacksonville and Carolina's staduim was.
@@RhinoXpress I mean, those stadiums are at least passable though. If I was ever in the area and had some extra money and time, I wouldn't mind going to either of those stadiums.
When the owner is a massive cheapskate who doesn't care about his team let alone his field that's the result you gon' get, I hope the NFL forces him to sell the team.
It was the same with RFK too. D.C. is an absolute nightmare to drive in or around, whether it is to or from a NFL game or not. The road system to FedEx is atrocious, and should have never been approved.
As a lifelong Washington fan, Dan Snyder has soured just about all the love for the team that I had left. And I'm not alone in the sentiment. The man has exploited the once diehard fanbase and milked it for all it's worth, trying whatever he can to placate what's left of the loyalty people have for the team. To top that off, the franchise and the stadium that he owns are quite literally falling to pieces and Snyder appears like he could care less, as he uses both as his piggy bank. Does he care opposing fans take over home games? Nope. Does he care about declining attendance? Nope Does he care his franchise is a scandal-ridden mess? Nope Does he care about properly rebranding the team to attract new fans? Nope Does he care about attracting good players and coaches? Nope The ambivalence and contempt of this man is astounding. Snyder is blind to the fact that the franchise is dying and more so than anyone else, the responsibility lies with him.
I’m turn 16 years old in 12 days and given that today is the 16th year anniversary of our last playoff win, I’ve never seen one in my life. Ive always been and will always be a Redskins fan and it just sucks that we gotta deal with Snyder’s bullshit all the time. I’ve always had a promise that if I get a diagnosis that I am terminally ill, I will strap a bomb to my chest and run into Dans house, just to make life better for the redskins fans that follow me.
I was once a panthers fan but once new ownership and Matt Rhule took over I couldn’t take it anymore I moved to my second favorite team a couple years ago and I cannot believe that a stadium can be this bad

True story, at one point JKC was going to build the stadium in Alexandria, but Virginia dropped the ball. I also heard that Fedex's development was rushed and cheap due to the guys building it also working on M&T Bank Stadium around the same time. I really hate fedex field
Actually, the goal was to build the stadium in Laurel, MD, in order to commandeer Baltimore's market. In fact, Paul Tagliabue undermined the Baltimore's expansion effort in the early 90s in an attempt to get state and local officials to go along with it. This ended up backfiring and was probably a big reason why Baltimore was willing to work with Art Modell to move the Browns.
@@Sweet-mz7ol Yeah, when I went to look up some of the information to remind myself of some of the details, I was shocked when I saw that FedEx Field broke ground only 4 months before M&T Bank Stadium, yet it opened a whole year earlier.
So Dan Snyder didn't just run the team into the ground, he ran the whole organization into the ground. He even lost the team name, total failure all around.
Lambeau is still an oversized high school stadium literally in the middle of a residential suburb. The Superdome is strength to strength with a perfect downtown location. And it's 47 years old.
As far as NFL stadiums that hold their age, Arrowhead is hard to top. Its nearly 50 years old and one of the best stadiums and one of the loudest in the NFL.
I suppose I can't complain about the traffic leaving Century Link anymore. The way they close and route traffic is horrible, but after seeing this, I feel I need to stop complaining. Best of luck Washington Fans!
Also at least there is light rail within walking distance to the stadium. I took it and it was good, but it’s only useful if you life on the line or transfer to a closer line to you. Still better than what they have
@@Jangmo88 good thing Seattle actually gives a shit about public transit, so even if it’s a pain in the ass to get to and from the stadium, it’s not entirely infuriating.

"Only" thing causing a holdup there is RFK is built on federal land. So, to tear RFK down and put a new stadium on it would literally entail an act of Congress. Despite some movement at the end of President Trump's administration, Congress did not "play ball," (which, for this, they shouldn't. If you're a billionaire, buy your own fking land + stadium 😂). RFK being torn down and replaced with housing, something DC truly needs, would be great. But again, federal land requiring Congressional approval 🤷♂️
@@mgjmiller1995 they're tearing rfk down this year. Corporate interests easily sway Congress. They get everything they want with everything else, why wouldn't the nfl
This reminds me of the vet in the late 1990s. Leaking pipe, a railing failing throwing people to the ground. I believe it was during a army/ navy game. Porter johns everywhere, terrible turf. Only difference is the eagles were building a good team, the fan support was still there, and the eagles actually had the new stadium coming in 2003, and most importantly Jeff lurie is a must better owner, than Snyder.
At least the Vet had a mystique about it and was loved by a lot of Philly fans, even though almost every big game they had there was an unmitigated disaster for Philly teams, the lone exceptions being the 1980 NFC Championship game and the 1980 world series and Tug McGraw. Fed Ex doesn't even have history going for it, the Redskins have sucked the whole time they played there. Did the place even ever host a playoff game? Whereas the Linc has hosted four NFC championship games in 20 years. Eagles winning three of them!
My dad and I are huge cowboys fans. In all seriousness it’s a 2.5 hour drive to fedex field for us but we’ve never gone because of how bad it is. We’d rather save up almost 5x the amount of money it would take to go to DC to fly to Dallas and actually enjoy ourselves instead
Exactly! It's more fun to actually see your team at their own stadium. My brother is a Cowboys fan, and I can imagine that going to AT&T Stadium would be like a pilgrimage for him,and for you guys. I, myself,am a Giants fan,but I'd totally go to Dallas just for the experience (as long as the Cowboys are playing someone else, lol)
As a suffering Washington fan, this is so true. I would much rather go to a game at AT&T than travel a half hour to FedEx. It’s the worst field ever and the traffic is so awful getting in and out is just mind boggling.
Dude you'd have a better time driving to some random convince store chilling by the slurpees for a few hours while drinking and talking to anyone who passes would be alot cheaper and more entertaining then watching the football team as well
I used to intern for the company that does security for all the DC sports teams. Somehow RFK stadium seemed to be in better shape than FedEx. Sewage plant of a stadium
Or possibly dead, if that railing got his foot and then 8 people fell on top of him…that could’ve ended so much worse. It’s a miracle only 8 people fell off tbh, if it was a few more people then it could’ve been so much worse. I surely hope that they get sued so hard until the NFL steps in and does something about it, especially with that awful field that. I may be a cowboys fan so I naturally hate the Skins, but no fan, player, or anyone else who has no authority over the stadium deserves to go through this.
Look up the Hillsborough disaster. That’s how bad things can get when things are poor stadium infrastructure and gross negligence when it comes to fan safety. I’m not saying the FedEx field is close to that, but it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt if they don’t do anything about it. You know what happened following the hillsborough disaster? They got rid of standing terraces in all stadiums for the top two tiers of English football. They wanted to make sure nothing like that ever happened again. The Washington football team’s callous attitude towards the copious safety hazards around their stadium is concerning to say the least.
It wasn't the terraces that were the problem, really, it was the metal fences they put up to keep the fans off the field. I spent a few years in The Shed at Stamford Bridge. One match, a whole train load of Man U fans got there first (wonder no one got killed haha), and about every 10 minutes they'd push the crowd in front of them. You'd literally get picked up off your feet and pushed about 10 or so feet down the terrace. Frightening, but with no fence, the guys down front were able to hop the rail and get on the pitch if they needed to. Trapping the fans in that kind of situation by putting up a fence like that was criminal.
I remember before they closed the Kingdome in Seattle, You'd be sitting there not knowing if you were going to get bashed in the head from things falling from the ceiling.
It really pisses me off when people are like "why did Jalen say bad things about the stadium? Nobody got hurt". Like, yeah nobody got hurt THIS TIME, but if it happens again, there's no guarantee someone won't split their head on the concrete
Won free tickets once to see the ravens play there preseason when I was 9; I just remember the terrible parking and extremely expensive food and drinks, not to mention the bad surrounding area
It makes me angry seeing what Dan Snyder has done to this franchise. I'm a Bears fan but I love Redskins fans. I lived in southwest Virginia for three years, and the Redskins fans were always very very kind to me. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Washington fans. They, and everyone else in football and indeed on planet Earth, deserves so much better than this.
The Redskins were once a team with pride, tradition, and honor. In 2006, they had a 87k average attendance despite being 5-11. They have around 50 k now. All that is left now is the Deadskins.
8:42 Imagine being so cheap, that you ban walking. I knew that Dan Snyder is the worst owner in the NFL, but that's just ridiculous. Hearing that there is no public transportation within accessible distance makes me proud that there are busses that stop outside of Soldier Field, and that can also take people to a train station that is minutes away.

I have had one good experience at that place, and that was when my boss's boss gave me 4 box seats and, more importantly, a parking pass (about 12 years ago). One of the smartest things I've ever done is to stop caring about this pathetic team.
Fedex field was thrown together quickly when built, and corners were cut, and that is on the owner at the time Jack Kent Cooke. However the failure to fix and upgrade the infrastructure is totally on the current ownership.
I use to work in building maintenance for BOA in Charlotte and one thing I’ve realized is companies have no issue with spending money on new buildings but spending money to maintain them is a whole different story lol. Back in the '90s in Houston, there was ONE roof leak and ONE turf tear at the Astrodome and then-Houston Oilers owner Bud Adams solved the problem by relocating the team to Nashville and rebranding as the Tennessee Titans.
That was a rather costly and harsh way for Bud to fix that, since Houston had no football team for five years afterwards - I'll bet the Astrodome maintenance staff weren't on the plane to Nashville.
When this dropped, I was super concerned for the guy that fell about 6-7 feet straight to his head with people piling behind him. Guy in white, I think? Absolutely inexcusable that team staff did nothing to help. Despicable.
I see other design professionals weighing in: I'm and Architect and I am just shocked at how cheap everything is being maintained. Just cutting corners all over. Hell yeah. To reiterate another OPs comment: people arent really realizing just how bad that railing situation could have been. It's bad enough that the fans fell from that height, then you factor in the cameraman (who is most likely suing, along with some of those fans) and then you factor in that THEY LITERALLY COULDVE CRUSHED A STARTING NFL PLAYER. Could you IMAGINE the amount of litigation that would take up if that shitstorm happened?
@@thepassingstatic6268 If Jalen Hurts was injured in this, the Eagles would have sued for millions of dollars, and that alone (before we get to the fans and the cameraman) would have financially nuked Dan Snyder and his franchise.

Local contractor here. The football team once had my company come out to quote them on some work. We gave them the price quote but they only offered us tickets. LOL.
I'm a Green bay Fan, and seeing this makes me disgusted. I mean we have Lambeau, predominantly concrete and bleachers for fans plus box seats, but seeing the amount of work that the organization puts into our stadium to keep it in working order and still working is insane and honestly makes me appreciate that aspect even more. Considering it opened in 1957 it has had multiple renovations and expansions. Plus the stock sales that happened this year generated so much revenue that they're going to plug into stadium upkeep and renovations projects. parking at Lambeau can be a nightmare though due to its location, but fans, residents, and businesses open their lots for fan parking. Price varies on location, I've paid $20 to be just a block or two away, or $10 to walk a fair distance. Plus the team offers shuttles at various locations around Northeast Wisconsin. I get that every team and ownership scenarios are different, but you see the effort any one franchise puts into their stadium as opposed to how Snyder and Washington handles it is night and day. It shows how cheap and how little ownership cares about the fans and franchise as a whole. For any fan who enjoys going to games at their teams stadium, always appreciate the fact that it will always be better than Washington Great video as always Five! Definitely keeps the word about Snyder being the piece of garbage we know him to be!

Many exaggerations there, Five Points. The most obvious one is the ballpark wasn’t supposed to be built in suburban Maryland. Rich, elite, selfish Alexandria City residents, who for decades refused to pay enough taxes to keep their sewer water from going directly into the river, decided to further destroy the Chesapeake Bay by stopping the construction of the stadium at Alexandria’s Potomac Yards. Big projects like stadiums ought to be built in closely packed urban areas like Potomac Yards where the infrastructure already exists instead of opening up more farmland and open space to sprawling runoff of sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen.

I can sincerely say this as a faithful WFT fan. FedEx field is the worst stadium I’ve ever been to. It’s an absolute dump and we should get rid off it and actual move back to DC.
I was there for the very first game. The excitement was palpable, but even amongst the hoopla, there was an odd feng shui about the place. It being a throwback concrete doughnut in the middle of a sea of asphalt didn't help. Basically, it was big -- and that was about the only noteworthy feature. It has never exuded the character of RFK. Gave up my season tickets 15 years ago and never regretted it.
Was at the stadium last Sunday for the Eagles game on Jan 3, what a dump. My buddy who worked there before for years took a trip to the Linc in Philly and was amazed about how high quality it is when it really is just a typical NFL stadium in terms of condition. Goes to show how bad FedEx field really is.
I've been going since they build it. Where do I begin. Half the issue with parking is that the parking staff doesn't seem trained and doesn't stop the pedestrians to let people who parked there leave. You used to be able to park at several lots including the old Cap Center and get a Metro bus shuttle but I believe the Team didn't want to pay for it anymore. So people now pay $30-$40 to walk 20 mins (uphill btw) just to get to the stadium. Traffic wise there are major county roads that surround the stadium that don't have anyone directing traffic and people are stuck with just the traffic lights. Inside the stadium. The seats just got cupholders about 5 years ago. The jumbotrons in the endzone were initially 3/4s advertisements. They sold seats in the lower level on the visitor side with obstructed views (including one directly behind a pole) where you can't even see the scoreboard. The sound is awful. Oh and those seats that they removed are just sitting in piles in the parking lot. There is a lot more but this is already too much.
Imagine getting drafted by WFT and bringing your family out to see your first game and they see this stadium. Kinda feel bad for the players cuz what can they do besides get embarrassed.
As a resident of Nova, let me just say this place has been a dump for 15 years. The only reason anyone would go is for a reason to get drunk or are opposing fans. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE wants Dan Synder to rot in hell. Fedex needs to pull their name from the building
Near the end of the 2006 Philadelphia game, I inadvertently became locked in a toilet stall on the west side of the stadium. It was the worst day of my life to that point. I knew I would never again pull for the team formally known as the Redskins.
RFK staduim may have been old but the two times I went during my summer internship at both libary of congress and FDIC to see DC united (even though I am Red Bull supporter) I wanted to see sports in general it was in good condition and not collapsing. Fedex field should be OSHA'd or condemed to not have visitors, at least Nats Park, Captial One Arena, Audi Field (new home for DC united) are better than fedex field.
I'm going to honest, I know people who used to go to RFK back in the day when it was still the Skin's stadium, and for a "cookie cutter" it had personality and was fun to go to. It probably still had another 5 or 10 years left. If they had even 5 more years at RFK into lets say the 2000 season, they could have built a far better and more modern stadium in the early 2000s that would not have been as bad as Fed Ex Field.
Unfortunately, Jack Kent Cooke was determined to gobble up all the Baltimore fans after the Colts left. The stadium was supposed to be built in Laurel, which is equidistant between Baltimore and DC and would have put up a bunch of barriers to Baltimore getting a new team. It didn't help that Paul Tagliabue was willing to screw over Baltimore to help Cooke get his way.
I live and grew up in Maryland 20 minutes away from downtown DC. This is one of the few times I will ever say this, but I’m thankful that I became a Vikings fan just so I didn’t have to root for Washington.
@@kevindao1103 for an organization as dysfunctional as the Lions, their stadium is setup very nicely. Downtown location within walking distance of many of the key city attractions and hotels. Detroit transit is very limited but does have routes near the stadium. Built into an old warehouse with no bad seats. Although I must admit, the Vikings stadium also looks impressive.
Me, my brother and my Dad went to a game there when they played the Falcons a few years back. We bought some shitty seats by accident, they were underneath the second deck, and their was a ceiling above us, so every time the teams would kick a field goal we couldn’t see the ball at the top of its flight
As someone that went to many redskins there was one thing I hated most. It wasn’t waiting in a long line to go to the bathroom. It was waiting in a long ass line to go to the bathroom and looking at a big flatscreen TV with an ad on it and no other tvs to see what was happening. It would make me so mad that tv wasn’t set to the game.
Not sure it actually landed, but the guy he threw the kick at was standing on the railing; under which cameramans other leg could be found. This may have been a reactive pain response; looks like he cooled down when the quarterback helps the kickee off of the railing.
They don't win games. Don't win games, no one wants to show up. No one wants to show up. Can't sell tickets. Can't sell tickets. Can't afford maintenance.
Where that stadium is located we used to cut thru there to get to Landover Mall. It was a huge Farm or something like that. So yeah it was always a terrible spot to put a stadium. Rowhouses, apartments, etc. are all located on that tight little street.
For a stadium not even 30 years old, it begs the question who the hell built this stadium to be made of cardboard!? I hate stadiums needing replacement after not even 30 years (Turner Field tho that's MLB), because stadiums costs hundreds of millions of dollars in resources and require lots of land. NFL stadiums are a whole breed of different needs too considering the league structure and how many people they bring in. FedEx field is a great example of cheap construction, terrible management, and terrible upkeep/maintenance, Landover/DC got screwed. As trash as the stadium is, I hate the thought of it being replaced so soon like the Georgia Dome. In fact from the outside looking in, it doesn't look even that bad! If the NBA can oust an owner from the league like the Clippers owner, then the NFL needs to think about doing that too. If I was a mega billionaire, I'd buy the team, renovate the SHIT out of FedEx field with proper repairs, a proper parking lot for people (and of course shuttle parking), and hope to bring the fanbase back to bring back lost seats.
@@kurtpunchesthings2411 I've heard that the reason a lot of Greek/Roman structures still stand is because of the concrete composition. It was recently figured out that the reason their concrete is stronger than most concrete today, is because the Greeks/Romans used Ocean Water to mix the concrete with, not fresh water. The salt made for an excellent binding agent and added structural integrity.
Let's just pray that in the midst of all this we don't see any collapsing stands. The WFT ought to return to RFK, but I guess Dan Snyder is hellbent on having a stadium in DC suburbs.
I live in St. Louis, and the Dome got a lot of shit for being the worst stadium in the NFL. Yes, the seats were colored wrong, the lighting wasn't good, and the scoreboard was small. However, the conditions were never as god awful as FedEx Field's conditions. I think it is interesting how it took so long for people to realize how terrible this stadium is.

It's a miserable suck-hole.
It's amazing that if you want a loyal and reliable consumer base, you can't prioritize profit over everything else. Do the Costco business model, it's easy and reliable. All Snyder had to do was back off from football operations and then take a small loss or just break even with transit and parking.

Nope
Does he care his franchise is a scandal-ridden mess? Nope
Does he care about properly rebranding the team to attract new fans? Nope
Does he care about attracting good players and coaches? Nope
The ambivalence and contempt of this man is astounding. Snyder is blind to the fact that the franchise is dying and more so than anyone else, the responsibility lies with him.

The great thing about the Packers is they can’t say “ build us a new stadium or we will leave “. Best damn deal for football fans ever. And I’m not even a fan ,just a wisc native
I guess I don't care about tradition, but I admit I hate Lambeau. I've been there. Bleachers in freezing temps is so subpar in a league like the NFL. Lambeau is outdated and old. I'm a big fan of modernizing like what the Vikings and Colts did with their new stadiums. Absolutely beautiful.
@@SRTBOAT I’m surprised that with the fan base and support they don’t build a new stadium.
As a Blackhawks fan, it’s sad when you have to hope for the owner to die to see your team become good again. It happened when Bill Wertz died and his son took over
As a Flyers fan I can't even have that, Comcast will have a death grip on my team unless they sell it like they did with the Sixers :(
@@matthewoconnor5975 was like that with the Cubs and the Tribune company all my life until they finally sold to Ricketts in 2009. Good thing newspapers are dying otherwise we would still be title less since 1908
Imagine being a Detroit Lions fan :)

@@matthewoconnor5975 replace the word team with city and you'd be 100%
That level of cheapness is unseen even in Mexico's profesional stadiums...
They were trying to replace that stadium 5 years after it was built. Since then, they purposely let it deteriorate so there will be no choice but to replace it.
There's this thing called 'maintenance.' If you want to keep a twenty-five year old building nice, you need to 'maintain' it.
An awful stadium
Controversy involving their old team name
Laziness to create a new, more creative team name
An awful owner
I feel bad for Washington Football Team fans.
Imo we need to petition the NFL to ban them from changing their name from " The Football Team " until they actually fix their stadium
Dan Snyder is the worst owner in the NFL currently.
With that being said Dan is in a lot of trouble off the field too. So he might have to sell the team sooner rather than later.
Ugh, Dan Synder got me thinking of Disco Stu from The Simpsons.
From your lips to God's ears.
Put John Mara up there as well.
@@ethanpurita Alas, John has just fired the entire Giants front office - even handing the GM his papers in person (Tim and Wellington taught him well here) - and also apologized for his franchise's current situation (for what that's worth).
I assure you one of the Lions, Texans, Jaguars or Jets will win a Super Bowl before Dan Snyder does any of that.
Snyder makes Angelos look like a generous saint. Yeah the Orioles are a trash fire, but at least they maintain their beautiful stadium and we have SOME direction on the field..maybe?
I think Washington Redacted is a fitting name that should forever be used
Many exaggerations there, Five Points.
Hey fivepoints there was another issue at fedex field I went to the week 2 game against the giants and I had tickets to the top floor. It was already bad enough that we had to walk up these long ramps at the side of the stadium and by the time I got to seat it was 7-0 giants. To make things worse there are a piece of glass that looked like it was broken off. I never fell there but the security was me and the people around to not lean on the glass around it
Seriously, Five, Dan Synder is James Dolan-level of poor ownership.
He’s worse than Dolan. Snyder is pure evil in glasses and a suit. And his Lady Macbeth wife is proving to be no better.
@@baxatakbaxatak2014 as a life long Washington fan, I have never heard a more Perfect analogy for Dan Snyder.
Bravo 👏👏
Yet, I think even Dolan has realized the error of his ways and have started to step back from Knicks' ownership. As such, the Knicks are actually a reasonably viable team now.
Dolan at least understands that he was being bad for them so he stepped down Dan synder is just being a cheep person and it's going to get someone killed
Nah James Dolan isnt cheap at least..he just meddles and gets in the way different kind of bad lol
I can sincerely say this as a faithful WFT fan. FedEx field is the worst stadium I’ve ever been to. It’s an absolute dump and we should get rid off it and actual move back to DC.
Dan Snyder treats this place like the Chum Bucket from SpongeBob
Isnt the Linc getting up there in age, too? It's been 20 years since it opened right?
@@thepassingstatic6268 yes but the Eagles have done upgrades over the past few years. It's still lightyears ahead of FedEx and even MetLife stadium
@@screamingsheik2264 Can we really blame Snyder for hating his own stadium? Like honestly
I grew up 10 minutes away in a place called Kentland. Even as a kid, I was embarrassed by that stadium and I’m not even a fan of the team.
They are still called the RED SKINS
Zip ties? You have to be kidding me! About a dozen people fall out of the stands, and your solution is zip ties?
Imagine getting drafted by WFT and bringing your family out to see your first game and they see this stadium. Kinda feel bad for the players cuz what can they do besides get embarrassed.
Lmao lol😂💀🏈
FedEx: Forces Redskins to change their name to avoid "damaging" the FedEx brand
FedEx Field: "I'll take care of this"
Well said.
Karma.
Who's here after the new proposal stadium near Potomac Mills, you know more traffic and nothing nearby any train station.
Yuuup
Yessir the commanders bought 150m dollars worth of land in the prince William county area so hopefully we get a new stadium in prince William county
Agreed RFK stadium was really a great place to see a game
I grew up in Minnesota and the Vikings is pure passion for me. At least I wasn't born in Detroit.... 🤦♂️
I wish I had just become a Ravens fan.
Yea, they literally sell seats too that are blocked by construction beams 😆
As someone that went to many redskins there was one thing I hated most. It wasn’t waiting in a long line to go to the bathroom. It was waiting in a long ass line to go to the bathroom and looking at a big flatscreen TV with an ad on it and no other tvs to see what was happening. It would make me so mad that tv wasn’t set to the game.
FedEx field is the Dan Snyder of NFL football stadiums. It's fitting really.
As a builder on fortnite it hurts my soul to see such an atrocious structure
I'm sure the cameraman that was under the railing that fell was upset, but he didn't have to throw a kick at some random dude
Not sure it actually landed, but the guy he threw the kick at was standing on the railing; under which cameramans other leg could be found. This may have been a reactive pain response; looks like he cooled down when the quarterback helps the kickee off of the railing.
@@thunderhammerx2966 Kickee? That was good.

Vrs Rome Colosseum still standing nearly 2,000 years later yes I know its not in peak shape but the fact that enough of it still stands is incredible
Turner field was different, Atlanta has been riddled with homeless people robbing and killing people at the parking lot.
I think MLB has the authority to levy massive fines on owners for any reason. I would like to see these leagues hold owners accountable.
Let's just pray that in the midst of all this we don't see any collapsing stands. The WFT ought to return to RFK, but I guess Dan Snyder is hellbent on having a stadium in DC suburbs.

However, the conditions were never as god awful as FedEx Field's conditions. I think it is interesting how it took so long for people to realize how terrible this stadium is.
The only thing worse than the stadium is the name change
Very funny and informative!
Let me tell you MetLife is on its way to this point. If anyone has been there recently you can just tell how old it is. If someone was to slip on one of the stairs going up to the second or third level seats they genuinely might die or at least be seriously injured, thats how steep those steps are.
That’s surprising because MetLife is turning just 11 years old.

It's amazing that if you want a loyal and reliable consumer base, you can't prioritize profit over everything else. Do the Costco business model, it's easy and reliable. All Snyder had to do was back off from football operations and then take a small loss or just break even with transit and parking.
I’m not an Eagles fan (Go Bears!), but that letter by Jalen Hurts has fucking class. The best part of the letter is that Hurts acknowledged the fans first, the media second, and himself last. That’s the mark of a good person right there, irregardless of personal achievement. Even if his stats never justify it, that truly puts him up there for consideration of the HoF, in my book.
