Those cars are incredible. Really love the Viper: it was the first car I truly fell in love with as a kid. Even today, the styling of the GTS holds up and doesn't look dated. Also, love the videos and congrats on 100k. You definitely deserve it!

I own a comparatively humble late 90s Subaru Impreza type R and I would *not* be impressed if any shop I left it with decided to take it for a test drive just because.
You have to test drive to find the problem and be sure the issues are repaired. Ive drove subaru to rolls royce. You just have to have a trust worthy mechanic.
It's really interesting seeing the reality of these cars. We all see them as brand new being slung around the TV shows, but we never see them 10 years later with all the same issues any other car has....except 100x worse to deal with.
I love your videos wizard. Brings back good times when my dad would hang up with his pals at the shop. He used to take me ( that way my mother wouldn't be all over him because he wasn't home) Anyway... I remember jumping from car to car and getting to know about them. Great Job Wizard ! 100,000 subs of which am I an early one. I can see what you stated is true and I see too little of it in the aftermarket repair business. Ethics and Integrity are the first casualties in the world today. And it's sad. But you have a pleasant way about you and the knowledge to help your customers with their problems at a reasonable price. These qualities will serve you well as long as you practice them. Good Luck and the second 100,000 will be a breeze. I wish you were closer as I have a Jaguar S-type with about 40,000 miles and it's only ailments are dealer related service issues attempted during warranty and poor substandard rubber parts that have failed as a result of sitting still. Congrats on the 100k subs..i just started watching a few weeks ago so im one of the newest subs..have to say i enjoy these videos.the knowledge coming from you makes me wish i had you as my mechanic...My fave car is that lambo the back end to me is one of the most gorgeous designs on a car in history...the f40 the countach the diablo and the 99 skyline are among my faves....the 88 porsche 911 and lastly the Koenigsigg ....love these cars more than some friends and family lol
Testarossa for me, I was mid teens when it came out. And Crockett drove one. Now that I know how unreliable they are, I am glad I could only afford Corvettes when I got older. Never had one of those break down and $40k is wayyyyyy cheaper than the cost and maintenance of the Ferrari. ( but damn that Ferrari was sexy )

I had a Maserati Spyder and took it to an auto electrician I'd used forever. When I picked it up I noticed it had over 600 more miles than when I dropped it off. I asked him about it and he straight out said _"I took it to Spring Break at Daytona."_ I never brought him the car again but I also didn't make an issue of it for two reasons. 1) I'd been taking my cars to him for 10 years. 2) A year earlier he had a brain tumor removed and his personality changed massively.
CW, have you ever considered using an LED forehead light? You won't win a fashion contest but it beats the Hell out of having to HOLD a flashlight. I didn't use to but then they came out with some really bright LED units.
