I mean, I haven't bought any Mattel DC figures in many, many years. I saw Poison Ivy today at Target, and it's a hell of a lot worse than I could have imagined. Going from the original prototype shown (albeit a little manly-looking in the face), looks absolutely nothing like the final product. The sculpt of the face is so beyond soft. The plastic is complete garbage. I mean, it's astonishing with how far down in the gutter Mattel has come..while Legends just keep getting better. Thank god they're loosing the license. And they're certainly going out with a bang..releasing figures that look like dollar store kids toys.
Hate to be that guy lol, *winces* I think these are homages to the Toybiz line before the Kenner line. But yeah regardless I do want these figs, very nostalgic and I may be in the minority but overall I am a fan of Mattels final stuff. Enjoyed the review!
