Beautiful Soleil 💕 and your Salvia is going to look amazing there and I cannot wait to see it bloom 💕 I don’t always use fertiliser I make my own by burning my garden waste such as twigs, leaves, eggs, compost waste & ground coffee/tea and my plants tend to love it a few times a year 💕 I’m absolutely loving the ‘Bobo’ Hydrangea 🥰
So pretty. Love all the hostas! I just planted a red salvia in my front. I think it got a little fried because of the heat. But the stems are green! Have a few of the purple salvia as well! Waiting for the second flush! 🌸🌿
I see you have one of those hose attachments on your wand that ionizes or magnetic water modifiers. Can you make mention of this for us. I have seen this on other youtube gardeners like Laura's Impatient gardener channel.
Yes, I understand why they are there, just pointing out that they are made of such strong material that the roots do not break them and it eventually kills the plants. Almost like plastic material. 🤨🍀🌻🪴
Hi Soleil, I forgot to say that I am in Northwest N.J. Zone 6 . Also they are PW Tuff Stuff Ah-Ha Hydrangeas but I am sure you already knew that. It says on tag that they rebloom so maybe when I get them in the ground they will look better. I just am not sure if I should touch those dried blooms and was hoping you could steer me in the right direction. Also it doesn’t say a thing about pruning except it says in early spring. Thank you so much
Great video! I've noticed those fabricy bits on some plants too, both perennials and houseplants...I'm glad you're getting the word out there for people to keep an eye out. And I hear you on the dryness this year...it's been a struggle.
What type tree that in the bed you removed hosta and planned salvia? Please Shasta daisy is in front of where you planted. You stated this was a no dig bed. It appears to be some kind of weeping tree. You also mentioned plug not breaking on its own. I so enjoy your gardening programs! Thank you from Woodstock, Georgia
Your garden looks so lush and pretty. I don't fertilize much and my garden looks great. I bought 3 Banana Shasta daises too for 2.99 each. I planted them at 9pm. I have been wanting some for the last 2 years and finally got some. Enjoy and love your channel
Hello my friend your garden is looking amazing. . . AS ALWAYS!!! I can tell this is truly your passion and your God given gift. Your garden always feeds my soul with happiness!
Soleil, I've been pulling that netting-like material out also. I seem to find it most often in plants I get from the big-box stores. I'm sure it has a lot to do with who the growers are. Apparently, it's a cost-saving thing for them. A couple of shrubs I purchased this year were planted in nothing but something resembling wood mulch, so I washed it off of the roots before planting them into my amended clay soil, and they are thriving now. Your garden looks beautiful, and the new plant additions will look great in a couple of weeks! Have a fun weekend! ~Margie🦋💚🌞
I agree! It does seem to be more common at big box stores but not brand specific which makes it necessary to check them all. Glad you got your shrub on the right track, you have great skills! 🤗🌺🌸🏵
Soleil, help! I tried so many sites but am still not sure what to do. I bought 2 PW Tuff Stuff Ah-Ha’s today at Lowes and some of the flowers are dried up but lots of new growth. My question is do I prune off those spent and if yes how? I believe they grow on old and new wood. Am beside myself because I don’t want to make a mistake. Thank you for your time
Hi Diane, not to worry! They should be fine. Just trim the spent bloom off right below where it dried and it should preserve the old wood just fine. I have been thinking about getting some of those since they also bloom on new wood, let me know how it goes! 🤗🌿🌼🌸
Hi Soleil garden looking beautiful thank you for all the tips you always give such good advice and I follow all your info love your garden tours how you remember all the names is amazing best regards from the South East Coast of Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
I'm in mid Michigan also. Your knowledge is so helpful to me. I love looking for the clearance plants too! I don't have a Lowe's near me is I find myself driving to the Howell Lowe's. They have the best selection in my opinion. I live in the country with a lot of spaces to fill. I have had a vegetable garden for years but my perennial gardens have been my focus this year! Thank you for the inspiration! 🌱
I learn so much by watching your channel. Great job! I never knew about those plant clips around the neck of plants. I will have to watch for them. Love the liatris. You should make a video all about them using past footage.
As usual a very nice video. First I want to thank you for the warning about the netting around the new plants. Second, I have a question about a plant in your front garden. What is the burgundy foliage plant, it's kinda behind and on each side of the oak leaf hydrangea? Thanks and God bless!
@@Suburbanoasis Thanks! I will look them up. Im going to redo my bird feeding area and thought about putting one there. I too like the columnar growth. Have a good day and God bless!
Garden is looking beautiful! When your shovel struck something hard, I knew it was a rock. I lived in four different locations across southern Michigan long I-94. I dug up rocks in every single yard. In one location, the rocks found on the property were used by a previous owner to build a low stone wall. I did grow some pretty roses in that garden though!
Thank you so much for these great tips I can use for my new garden. I know I have a lot of work to do to get it full of flowers and I appreciate your advice. Your gardens are beautiful! 🌼
I finally found a patriot hostas paid for price will get ,2out of the pot and got Quee Josephine to maybe 5,6 out of them my Lowes don't do slot of make down the got things that have bloom still at full price will died flowers
I believe it is because of how much sun they get. They need true full sun. But they will also flop if really really underwatered so that is probably less likely. 😉🌾💚🌸
Your garden is so pretty 😍
Wow , the most beautiful garden, i have ever seen😍😍😍😍🙏🙏
Thank you! 🤗🌿⚘️💮

Sure, I can do that! 😀💦🪴🌿
The tiny fabric collars are merely leftover from when the cuttings were potted up. Hopefully they were rooted into the pot that you bought.

Yes, those fabric plugs are the worst! That's crazy they are on houseplants too. 😬🪴🌿🍀
That’s a really good tip about the net around the plugs. I’m going to check my new plants.
Hope you have better growers than the ones coming my way! 😉🪴🍀🌼
