i absolutely love this style of music, it's so anxious and utterly unhinged. can't wait to listen to the new album, specially those two 24 minute tracks.

@@ARTHROPODALIEN the windmill scene has bands that employ similar instrumentation with the same anxious feel, black country new road's and black midi's debut albums are both i recommend alot, squid is good too but it's less anxious and more psychedelic. from the windmill scene there's also maruja's debut ep, that is more influenced by jazz while occasionally veering into punk territory.
both the windmill bands and sprain draw alot from the 70's/80's no wave scene, so teenage jesus & the jerks, DNA, mars and blurt might be up your alley.
some post-hardcore albums like fugazi's red medicine, unwound's fake train and nomeansno sex mad are very high intensity as well.
other contemporary noise rock bands like gilla band and women i can also recommend alot.
totalism aswell, glenn branca and rhys chatham specially (listening to chatham's drastic classicism is a must).
and lastly try giving peter brötzmann's body of work a shot, specially machine gun.
