Thanks for this. The only thing I'm unsure of in the blurb - it says it turns off for 30. mins after 10 mins playing, can be started again by touch. If it's NOT touched by the cat, does it come on again anyway? I'm considering one for my indoor lunatic, particularly at night, but want one that will only come on if he goes and annoys it. The current interactive toy (known as Loki's Tank) I have kicks off again whether the cat is interested or not and that turns him into even more of a loon - just as he's chilled out and gone to sleep it starts up again and he's into instant I-fell-into-the-cocaine-mode again. I want one that sits there until he goes and pesters it or I'll never get a night's sleep again...

hey, not sure if this is still helpful but the cheerble balls have a "passive" mode where it only reactivates if the cat touches it, they have 3 modes total. Not sure if the mouse has these settings too but they might!

Deffo still relevant and thanks so much for this info - I think I'll get him one of the balls then, cos that sounds perfect.
The little Hexbug mice have that mode but he gets through loads of the things - I think they commit some form of electronic-mouse suicide rather than be "played with" by the maniac again. It'll probably take him a bit longer to dismantle a ball shape (those,are going to be famous last words, aren't they 🙄)

Awwww, you got a rescue? 😍😍😍😍 All my previous cats have been rescues but there was nothing here TO rescue (which is great, really - empty shelters are the result of decades -worth of effort) so after I'd waited about 18 months I decided for the first time ever to get a kitten.
They're complete yobs, aren't they? Well, this lunatic was and still is - I looked like the poster-girl for self harm for the first year or so, he only had two modes; asleep and demon! He does love his Hexmice but I think the balls are much safer, especially with a kitten. I bet he'll love it tho and maybe, just maybe, you'll be allowed to sleep at night for longer than thirty minutes before being woken up because floofythingonnastick needs to happen and it needs to happen NOW!!!!!!!!!
So cute tho, even if we are looking at them through the eyes of the chronically sleep-deprived. Mad karma points for rescuing a kitten ❤
@@randomhumanoidblob4506 aww that's honestly so great that the shelters are empty there! We got really lucky with young Ellie, she's an absolute angel. When she does get playful she's a little demon, but she actually stops and starts purring again, even mid play, if you touch her, it's amazing! I'll keep the hexmice in mind, I'm sure she'll love one of those too! Sadly Ellie has three little siblings who also need a home, there are no shortage of rescues in our area 💔 bless the volunteers finding them homes though, takes a special person to help so many little guys in need ❤️

Fixed it! Fun fact. The wheels come off and you can get the hair out that way haha it was making it not spin
Will it get lost under furniture?
I suppose it depends. It can't go under my main sofa. So far my cats haven't managed to make it disappear :) I have 10 cats, and they have tried :)
