Love that they reuse the same cave backgrounds in this episode for the flashbacks just like physical sets got reused, and comment on it right at the start to draw your attention to it 🤣🤣
Ugh! I both love and despise Paramount & UA-cam, despise for for censoring you! My comment from this am stands, although I didn't save it and just got home from my 3 coffee required trip to Cape Cod. Love you, dude, @WarpReactor! Catch ya next week (and on Weds for TOS). LLAP & Vulc'n'Roll! 🖖🤘
another little thing that Tendi's turbolift story helps explain is Boimler being relaxed around her. When they first met he was tongue-tied looking at the pretty green girl but after being so close for so long and sleeping in a pile he is unfazed by her sitting on his bed in only a towel
"Ever been in a sentient cave? Thats a dark place that knows things" -Beckett And we have no idea what the Nacelle thing is. Although it was on the SNW Enterprise's Nacelle in the Crossover.
When are you watching Strange New Worlds, Discovery, which should be watched Discovery season 1 and 2, then Strange New Worlds, then Discovery 3 4 5, then Academy
What I love about this is that they recreated one of the cave sets from the show, and then reshot the same set with nothing but different dressing. Like they were doing a show. It's brilliant.
I’m generally not a very big fan of omnibus-type episodes, but this one is fun, and I do like how it riffs on the live action shows only having The One Cave Set.
UPDATE: This video required major edits after posting. I apologize for its current state :(
"I'm glad you guys are my friends." And we're glad you're on this show, Tendi.

Lower Decks is the main reason that I have a Paramount+ account.

Wolf 359 was NOT AN INSIDE JOB, LEVY!!!
the nacelle sucker was made for this show.
Pretty sure it is also a reference to the TNG episode "Galaxy's Child."
2:42 The show referencing the fact that (at least some of) the live action shows had exactly 1 set to shoot cave scenes on.
The vendorian first appeared in the TAS episode "the survivor."
3:16 I think its from a tng episode.
Reupload for the powers-that-be :(

Only two episodes left. We're in the endgame now.

I don't have any references to point out about this episode... 😟
Though I do love your reaction to Rutherford's casual "baby with T'Ana" mention!
Wish I wasn't hearing this right after Paramount announced increasing their subscription rates...
