MY 1st MATCH 2025 vs PROS (ft ALE ALONSO #16 IN THE WORLD) - Wings to Pro

Second episode of Wings to Pro and second day trying to be a professional Padel player! Today I have my first training and my first match of 2025 with Alejandra Alonso, player 16 of the Premier Padel ranking. I'm playing against two professional players... and thank goodness Ale is my partner!

Pablo I know exactly how you feel when watching yourself. For me, when I see myself, it looks like I'm the slowest padal player even tho I feel like I'm playing fast. From my perspective and watching you play with Alejadra, you are pulling yourself upwards to their level, so you're doing way better than you think ;)

I say when I play against better player I never expect to win any points. Meaning the shots I usually win point with will always be returned. This makes me not stop during the point to expect to win.

You often had the chance to play the forehand volley cross over the fence instead of on your opponent. At 20:50, for example, you used it to lure your opponent and put him under pressure. Or with the rulo. That way he could easily defend every ball you hit.

Your bandejas are way to flat en to fast. Personally i think you dont prepare your racket good enough.
