    R Kelly’s meltdown is something to behold. The realization and disbelief he felt in that moment when he realized he was finally going to face justice for everything he had done to those women. He knew it was a matter of time before they put him in prison for the rest of his life. He is truly, one of the most despicable and evil human beings to exist and I’m glad to see him face the consequences for his actions.

      Yes. I especially liked the actor playing Claire’s father-in-law and his character’s background in jazz and later Harlem Renaissance culture and the cameo by legendary actor Danny Kaye as Peter’s dentist. But, there’s a creepy subtext to Cosby on the show now, especially with Cliff Huxtable being an OBGYN and hiding in his own kitchen to secretly eat Claire’s pies. I remember feeling disturbed by reading Cosby’s autobiography in a used bookstore. There was no emotion or revealing of his inner self; his brief, ambiguous mention of the “gang” that inspired Fat Albert left me wondering if the gang was an innocent sort of gang. I loved Cosby’s shows and I can’t believe what he did. I felt like my childhood was a lie. He hurt so many people.

    The MeToo movement was long time in coming and I applaud all those who have come forward with their bravery to tell their stories and seek long overdue justice. However, there's the dark side to this movement as well. I feel for Kevin Spacey. His life and name has been ruined over just being accused. Every single case to date has found him acquitted, not guilty or had the cases thrown out because it was found the accuser was lying through their teeth for fame and/or fortune. Can't forget the one who said they had evidence of Spacey's guilt on his phone, but when asked to produce the phone for examination, it suddenly was lost and couldn't be found. I will never forgive Anthony Rapp for what he's done to Kevin. Hope he can sleep at night for what he did.
    Anthony was a nobody before and now has found fame and fortune because of it. Is Kevin an angel? Most likely not, but when you compare the claim Anthony made (even if it did happen, which to this day has never been proven in court), the sentence in the court of public opinion has already been carried out. Kevin Spacey, one of the most brilliant actors of our time has had his life and career ruined for which he will never fully come back from. So sad.

    • @toro5280
      @toro5280 Рік тому +1

      Once they have made up their minds it is over. The biggest problem is that there are sentences based on testimony only. There is this case in the UK, a woman pressed charges on several occasions claiming she was raped. Altogether through the years 15 men stood before court. Some of them went to prison. Most if not all lost their jbs, their friends, their partners and their reputation. Despite the fact that the 250 pounds "lady" was hardly someone who men would lust over, and that there was no evidence, only her testimony the courts issued in several cases a guilty verdict. The only relatively good news is that finally someone realized what was going on and she got 10 years in prison.
