- Bako National Park is the most famous national park near Kuching.
Naturally, this park is included in our itinerary in Kuching. We will show you our day trip to Bako and what we saw and experienced in this video.
We first took a boat ride to see the famous sea stack. After that, we returned to the headquarters and managed to spot beared pigs, proboscis monkeys, and long-tailed macaques. Besides that, we also spot a green pit viper.
For trekking, we took the Lintang Trail, Ulu Assam Trail, and Teluk Paku trail

That's Incredibly Awesome And Breathtaking Adventure!
Beautiful...so much to see within the country
So fantastic natural view of East Malaysia! Never visit never knew! Keep your good work 😊
We are looking forward to going to Bako on our trip to Borneo in a few weeks time.
Hi! Thanks for all the information! Im very afraid of leeches, weren’t you told that you might be beaten by them? Did you see any?
We did not encounter any leeches as it was not raining. We also hike at other places near Kuching and no leeches even drizzling. Guess it's not a major issue.
2:17 you are lucky to see this before it collapses
Yes. So unfortunately, it's now gone forever.
Hey,thanks for uploading this video! Is there any locker that provided?
We went for a day trip and therefore did not use any locker and am not sure about it.
How much the ticket price? It's already for the boat or not ya?
The entrance ticket to the park is only RM10 for adults, which is considered cheap. But we have to purchase a boat ticket which costs RM200 for each boat for a round trip. We wrote an article about Bako with more info travelwithlens.com/bako-national-park/
is it safe for toddler? local guide is on the spot or u booking before the day?
It is safe for toddlers, but the hiking can be challenging for adults to carry them. We book our guide in advance, so I'm not sure if there's any local guy available on this part.
