It was an incredibly emotional experience, we filmed for nearly 2 hours, there were so amazing conversations. To have had the opportunity to raise awareness of thrombosis and to get backing was truly incredible.
What a lovely chap. Genuine guy. Wish him all the best. Well done. Simple effective product that will surely save lives. Keep it up and ensure it gets out there. A definite purchase from me.
Thanks so much, It's not been the easiest of journeys getting to this point, but the response, not only from all of the Dragons on Dragons' Den, but from people out there in the ether has been truly fantastic.
I had a pulmonary embolism in 2004 as a result of a massive DVT in my knee two days after a football injury. The Embolism cut off flow into my lungs and nearly killed me. it would have killed me had I been asleep when it happened. Luckily I was awake and managed to get to hospital on time in order to be saved. My thigh had swelled to 37" in circumference (larger than my waist) and it completely ruined the valves in the femoral vein. Seventeen years later i'm still on an anticoagulant medication and will be for the rest of my life There is the occasional news item about deep vein thrombosis risks while flying (economy class syndrome) but still, very few people know much about the risks of being immobile for extended periods. This is despite it being a very common condition. Many many millions of people get Deep Vein thrombosis and or a P/E each year. This can arise randomly, or after surgery, or after an accident or injury, When I first got the knee injury I wasn't warned by anyone at the hospital about elevating or keeping the leg moving to make the calf muscles help pump blood around. They just strapped my knee, gave me painkillers and booked me back in for an x-ray a week later "once the selling had gone down !!" I was very lucky It's an evolutionary trait in humans. Since human ancestors first stood upright our entire vascular system was essentially compromised, compared to our ancestors who were on all fours, plus the knee joint is very congested with nerves, bones, veins and a major artery, so local swelling can cause havoc with bloodflow which bottlenecks around the knee One in three people who suffer a pulmonary embolism will die from it if they do not get treatment straight away... treatment is not very easy if you are on a plane !! I've only gone ahead with one long-haul flight since this happened; a ten hour flight to the Caribbean, where I was hot, cramped and suffered lots of pain and swelling with the after effects (thrombolisis) This would help and I could see customers happily paying £10 and either taking it with them or leaving it behind for the next person. I'm not sure about the practicalities of interval cleaning by airline staff, but like headphones on flights it may end up being a disposable item (so a recyclable product would be a goal) Stephen Bartlett is correct that wearable tech like a smartwatch or phone with alarms to remind you not to cross legs and to flex your muscles and move joints would also work I think Touka is great for getting on board with this. It won't make him rich, but if it raises awareness of the risks then he'll get his rewards one way or another. I wish them luck !!
Hi, thanks so much for sharing your story. It's so vital for survivors of #Thrombosis and those whom have lost a loved one to have a voice. The Dragons' Den, has certainly given us all a voice.
thanks for sharing, I am glad that you are ok. education is certainly a key factor but really all airlines should supply this as standard. DVT socks are very uncomfortable and hot, this is a great alternative. I hope they are successful.
This is most practical negotiation ever. I don't know why people fight over share. It's better to have something out of a successful business than 100% of nothing.
It really was a no brainer. With Touker onboard, as well as Peter Jones talking about his own personal experiences, the whole experience, even though tough, has been absolutely worth it.
What a great product and what genuine man Paul is. Remember one time when flying used to wear flight sock but were awkward putting them on . This is way more easier and will certainly be buying them. Best of luck Paul.
Thanks so much for your comment, it means a great deal to me. Flight socks .... don't get me started, horrible, dangerous, ineffective things that cost more than the RBR legflow™ A recent paper published by the Imperial College (NHS) London, concluded that graduated compression stockings have no clinical or medical benefit pre or post procedures. So if they don't work in hospital, it's unlikely they work in a plane...!

Stupid piece of plastic crap. U can stretch your legs, flex your feet, press the floor with your toes, press the floor with your heels, ALL WITHOUT a stupid bit of world destroying plastic. The world really really does not need more plastic junk. No person needs a bit of plastic under their feet to excersice them ....
Thanks so much for the kind comment. We're moving forward (slowly but surely), Covid didn't help, but it wouldn't feel right if there weren't a few obstacles along the way...!
Well done Paul. Having them advertised by airlines when boarding planes would be fantastic and help raise awareness as to the risks of dvt. Rental on flights would be great.
Peter Jones, saying the things e did, talking about his own personal experience, was huge. It's opened the doors for so many other survivors (as well as those whom had sadly lost loved ones to blood clots) to talk about their own stories, many of whom hadn't ever done so before.

@@jimbim1623 Mr Jim Bim - every day that I wake up & find myself alive is a good day. But - just for a laugh - why not try to concentrate on the actual subject of this video, and my comment ?? Shall we try that? When I travel long haul, I always exercise my legs by pressing on the floor with my toes, then my heels. These are exactly the exercises that this piece of plastic junk are supposed to provide. Thanks so much for your kind comments Donna, I was really pleased that they kept a lot of the "awareness" features in that they did, as it really has helped so many people. Touker is a very wise old bird. That product has the potential for many different markets and patent or not, they could both still do very well out of it.
It's been a challenge, but we're working hard to get the RBR legflow™ into the NHS, care-homes, airlines, travel industry and the gaming industry. The gaming industry is an interesting one, but it's frightening just how long people are sedentary gaming on-line. You just have to Google "gamer dies of DVT" and it's so sad.
Well done. Your story of adversity will change the lives of many. Whilst watching, Occupational Health came to my mind if that is an area you were thinking of exploring. But knowing you, I can imagine you'd have that area covered. Anyway, all the best.
Thanks so much for your comment Eddie, this is one of the biggest things, the opportunities are so many, we're trying to manage how we support each area, as everything has to be 100% from the very start, we know we can't let anyone down.
Absolutely. In the UK our bus services aren't too long, but several are over 90 minutes. In the US (for example) they can last for hours, so the RBR legflow™ would be ideal for the passengers.
Hi Ami, if you go to our website there's a digital shop on there where you can order. We do ship worldwide, but the costs vary. Hope that helps, if you've got any other questions please feel free to ask - Paul
Thanks so much Deborah. There was a lot of conversations cut out (we recorded non stop for nearly 2 hours), when Touker made his offer, I already knew I'd accept as it would be crazy not to, I knew I wasn't going to go and talk to the wall ..!
@@experiment54 to date we haven't completed the deal. A lot has changed from our side, which potentially means a lot of negotiation ahead. Being on the show last year, opened so many doors that were previously not open to us, so I guess we see where things go.
If anything a great move to get onto the show for the reach and publicity. There was never a chance of investment without a patent on the product. All the best with it though as it seems like a very useful product!
Thanks so much for your kind comments. The patent was an interesting matter. We always knew we had no patent, but we've secured all the IP, research, trials and clinical approval. The only thing (even with a patent) is that someone, somewhere will copy it...! What we have though, and we believe is a strong factor, is that we own the IP's etc. We're also incredibly privileged to have Professor Richard Beasley and his team at the MRINZ on-board as part of the team.
Stephen was very interesting to talk to, he has a great belief and faith in technology and digital solutions, and has been incredibly successful with this. The RBR legflow™ probably wasn't his area of expertise. But he did have some very interesting thoughts about digital marketing.
Hi Bill, thanks for the comment. This is quite simply one of our goals. We've been trying to work on our pricing so that we can make this as affordable and available to airlines as we possibly can. We're still in talks with various airlines, but it's tough going.
We've looked into the possibility of a redesign (so it folds for example), the trouble is, we looked at the clinical research and trials, and the shape and design gives the maximum increase in blood flow to the lower limbs. Another concern is to ensure that there aren't any areas where any potential dirt could build up. The RBR legflow™ is antimicrobial, but we have to be wary about general dirt.
Wow… this was the first time I have heard of this as a issue that’s frightening. I sit 10.5 hours a day working so I’ll definitely be purchasing one of these

That's really interesting, we're actually talking to a national rail carrier and their seat manufacturers at the moment. Could be interesting to see what happens.
That's interesting, will have to have a bit of a dig. I do know that the RBR legflow™ is the only product like this, that has the research, trials, and MHRA approval.
@@00Kuja00 I think I know what you're referring to. There is a product (a bit like the old swimming arm bands we had to wear as children), you blow one half up and then push down with your foot, and vice versa.Think they're still on Amazon for around £39.00. They don't do anything, have no research, trials, or medical approval. Personally I think it's a disgrace they're allowed to be sold.
It was a tricky one. The research took place in 2005 by Professor Beasley, and is safe because of the clinical copyrights we have in place. A patent on the actual product would have been great, but the sad reality is, it will make little to no difference. Someone overseas will copy it, we know that, and to take legal action against these individuals would be financially impossible (you just cant track down the people in China), my course of action was to ensure that the research and clinical trials were 100% ours, so when we deal with airlines, the NHS, international businesses etc, we can say with absolute confidence that our product is the first and only real DVT prevention device and is proved through research and clinical trials. Other devices (that might look the similar) don't have this, so, should they look to save £1.00 to £2.00 on an inferior product, they run the risk of potentially massive legal costs, should anyone use the un researched and trialled product. We are also approved by the MHRA which is the government agency for approving medical devices, without their approval, we have nothing. Thanks so much for your comments by the way, is great to hear from so many people. Paul

@@justindrake4600 Everything is 100% recyclable. The airline sector is just one area where the RBR legflow™ has been proven to be of benefit. A key area is within the healthcare and care home sector, where this simple device has been proven to reduce deaths by VTE considerably. There are several other products out there in the market that profess to do some amazing things to prevent DVT, the RBR leglfow™ is however, the only clinically researched, clinically trialled, medically proven and MHRA approved device available, this has only been possible because of the superb work by the clinical team at RBR active™, it is anything but childish and unnecessary.
In India and China, we have an insole with accupuncture points. The retail price is 1 pound for 3 pairs. We do have a lot of DVT cases but that comes with age and some medical treatment. Probably Europe and North America have more instances of DVT due to the colder climates
Age has no bearing on those affected by DVT, it is quite simply being sedentary. Yes, there are some medical conditions that can, and do increase the threat, and in fact, those going through cancer treatments are at an 80% increased threat. The climate, again has no bearing. Our best advice is to keep as mobile as you can, and don't stay sedentary for too long.
At 3:30 the entrepreneur says to Peter Jones - ‘you shouldn’t cross the legs’ , why ? Where’s the evidence that supports that theory? Most airlines recommend to keep the ankles moving to reduce the risk of DVT, ultimately moving the legs is going to make the difference, if someone is asleep this device does not nudge or passively move the feet.. I hope I am wrong, otherwise I don’t see any reason to buy.. I would love to get a response. Thanks
Hi Naveen, thanks so much for your comments. Ah yes, crossing legs, I did tell Peter off..! But, it had to be done. Research shows that when people are sedentary, blood flow to the lower libs has decreased by over 50% in just 90 minutes, by the person crossing their legs, they are quite literally forming a barrier in their deep veins (a bit like folding a garden hose, it restricts flow) - We've developed the medical product to be used whilst the user is sedentary (at a desk, on a flight, in a care home, gaming, in the NHS), moving the legs does do something, however, using the RBR legflow™ is proven to increase blood flow by over 10-fold (10.9 fold to be exact), moving your legs, only increases blood flow to the normal level, there is no "increase" as such.
Can anyone explain to me the product?? I didn't completely get it... What problem is it solving ?? Maybe I'm underage to know it but pls tell me what's this
Hi Buckwasiyat, no problems at all. Basically, when you're sedentary (working at a desk, on a flight, gaming) for example, blood flow to your lower limbs has decreased by over 50% in only 90 minutes. This puts people at the risk of developing a potentially deadly blood clot (Deep Vein Thrombosis). The RBR legflow™ has been created (through clinical research, trials and MHRA approval) to increase blood flow by over 10-fold whilst the user is sedentary, this significantly reduces the threat of ever getting a DVT. Certainly not underage. DVT affects all ages, sexes, creeds, colours. I hope this helps? Regards, Paul
@@rbractive6588 thankyou for your prompt response... Yes now I got it... And since I didn't know anything about such condition so it was educating for me... So kind of you. Thankyou
Is this why I have a swollen ankle after many hours setting in front of the computer, I thought it was diabetes or something, but if I walk some distance or when I work out the problem disappears
We can't obviously comment in relation to your diabetes, as we obviously are not medically able to. But if your lower legs are swollen after being seated it could well be that your circulation has decreased and you could have unintentionally have caused the swelling due to being sedentary. I personally find sitting at the desk, I always have my RBR legflow™ under my feet, and swelling is ket to an absolute minimum, if any at all. Hope this helps. - Paul
Just having his name supporting us has been wonderful. We're still at the very early stages, even though our pitch was broadcast last year. The Dragons' Den really has been a great deal of support for us, especially since we're a new company, with a very unique, but valuable health product.
They harp on about patents but it’s not necessarily the end of the road as any potential rivals also wouldn’t get a patent and unlikely to do it if he’s captured the market.
Agree 100%. We did discuss this during the filming. The reality is, and I've known all along, it will be copied in China or India, and we (as in the UK) simply do not have the clout to protect any patents, especially those that are managed through SME's like RBR legflow™. Our strength, protection and USP is the clinical research, clinical trials, medical approval and the MHRA accreditation. No one else will ever have these things, therefore, no commercial business, hospital Trust, airline etc will use the copied variant. Thanks so much for your comment. Paul.
@@rbractive6588 no worries Paul, I personally think you have a great product that solves a real issue and want to see you succeed. I know how the world works though as do you and that’s that their are gatekeepers that guard every industry letting only the certain few through. I’ve experienced this myself with my art business. I also have an idea for a building product which I think would do great but know I wouldn’t get a patent, ergo - it could be copied.
Afraid not. Any sort of stimulation to the circulation to the lower limbs is good, don't get me wrong. But the RBR legflow™ is clinically proven to increase blood flow and circulation top the lower limbs by over 10-fold, this increase greatly reduces the threat of Deep Vein Thrombosis. The clinical research, trials and medical approval is key to everything.
We're doing ok. Was never going to be easy, especially with COVID, but we've secured around 10 significant contracts within the NHS, care-homes, and travel industry. Still waiting on the major ones, but we shall keep on working hard to get the RBR legflow™ into as many people's lives as we can.
Ideal, cheap little tool... surely, it's a no brainer if you're getting back into flying, sitting at a desk at home for hours at a time, etc.? For example, companies offer to purchase a new chair for people to use at home if they are on WFH/hybrid work contracts... this little tool should also be added to that package for 'health and well-being'.

Deborah Meaden was incredibly strong during the recording, once we'd stopped filming I was able to speak to her about her arm and what information she'd been given about thrombosis in the arm, she had been advised extremely well I'm pleased to say.

Absolutely. We're presently supporting some of Team GB Paralympics. The device truly will be ideal; for you both. Sadly, flight socks have very little benefit I'm afraid. A recent paper published by the Imperial College NHS London concludes that graduated compression stockings have no clinical or medical benefit pre or post procedures.
"While I sympathize with your story and am happy you have recovered, I want to invest in products that help other physical ailments... And for that reason, I'm gout.
Quite simply, because they don't produce the same increased blood flow to the lower limbs. The RRB legflow™ during trials and subsequent medical approval, was shown to increase blood flow over 10-fold (10.9-fold to be exact) whilst the user is sedentary, this increase is vital. Other products were researched by the MRINZ, and none came anywhere near the increase needed to prevent DVT.
@@rbractive6588 I don't believe that a simple ball with similar protrusions wouldn't create the same effect once stabilised or even a significantly greater effect since a ball is a whole sphere which would allow for greater range of motion where plantar flexion is concerned. In order to replicate your product, one need only to produce two halves from a single ball and place them on a stable surface. This seems quite easy to replicate with very base intellect.
@@altustalent410 I once said, that if we didn't have the clinical research, clinical trials, medical proof and approval from the MHRA, then, yes, it could be replicated. That said, I've also always said (and was on the Dragons' Den - pre edit) I said, "if anyone wants to copy this, and I know they will, then go ahead. But would reputable airlines, care homes, the NHS, businesses, gamers etc, use a product without the clinical research, trials, medical proof and MHRA approval? In all honesty with you, and that's all I've ever wanted with this, is to raise awareness of Thrombosis, DVT's and I know, what we have here can prevent this.
@@rbractive6588 Indeed however the same can be applied to what I've suggested to produce the same result with even greater range of motion, furthermore the additional benefit of having a ball means rolling it backwards and forwards creates movement for your knee as well thus increasing benefit for blood circulation whilst seated. The study itself doesn't necessarily concern the product but rather a movement created from it, which as I said can be performed on a simple ball or two hemispheres.
Before this, I watched a 10-year-old episode where two Dragons invested in chainmail for chickens. Yet this guy struggled. Tough market these days for people seeking investment.

@@NicholasThorntonOfficial was very tricky, as I'm terrible at keeping secrets...! Sadly, I don't think the RBR legflow™ would be suitable for you at the moment, our research and trials are based upon being sedentary through sitting. I do hope you find a way to recover as best as is possible and as soon as is possible.
It's actually incredibly well manufactured. We had a great deal of criteria to meet to ensure the MHRA approval. The design (albeit very simple) works. The clinical trials show that the design, with the exercises, increase blood flow and circulation to the lower limbs over 10-fold. This, significantly reduces the threat of DVT
That's the whole ethos and driving force of RBR active™ we want as many people to have access to an RBR legflow™ as possible, profit is not the motivator.
Airlines should take all seats out of planes and have standing height tables. Fit more people in, better for their health, except when there's turbulence.
There was in fact a research paper released in 2020 (I believe) that looked at standing places on-board. Could be great for the airlines, more passengers but, our research showed that there was a potential increase of over 42% rise in potentially deadly blood clots because of this. We published a paper that looks at the effects of flight and Deep Vein Thrombosis, makes an interesting clinical read.
Hi Jarednil69, when we filmed (which too nearly 2 hours) I did talk about Thrombosis, and the signs to be aware of, I think that maybe when they edited the recording, they must have edited this out. I talked about our campaign seekHELP H - heat E - excessive redness L - localised swelling P - pain I also talked about the wonderful campaign by the National Blood Clot Alliance - Stop the Clot
A very fair thing to say, as weight, can increase the risk of blood clots. My incident was caused by a knee injury I developed whilst playing tennis, at the time I was (well, not as big as I am now). Subsequently, exercise has been very tricky. I do try and watch what I eat, and drink, but it has been quite a long (and at time physically and mentally very challenging). I'm now back swimming (which is the safest and less problematic exercise I can do), so hopefully in the New Year I will be less round.
our research shows that by just moving the feet alone doesn't actually increase blood-flow whilst sedentary. People for too long have been led to believe that flight socks are the solution to preventing flight associated DVT's, but the research by the Imperial College (NHS) London, put pays to this, in fact graduated compression stockings (flight socks) in fact have no clinical or medical benefit (pre or post procedures), and in fact, in over 85% of times, users are in fact causing more issues than they ever thought. The RBR legflow™is incredibly light-weight, easy to use, and most importantly the research and trials prove that there is over a 10-fold increase in blood-flow whilst the user is sedentary.
It was an interesting comment, not sure I believe that it would be the deal breaker. It is good to have a reminder, as we all know just how quickly time goes by, especially while working (for example). That's why I personally have an RBR legflow™ under my feet at all times when I'm at the desk.
@@rbractive6588- ha, ha, ha... I was just being facetious. I don't like all this over-dependence on technology. I mean, I've remembered to breathe for over half a century and don't think I'm going to forget it soon😂😂😂

@@jimbim1623 We filmed for nearly 2 hours (non stop, with no breaks) was very intense at times. We covered things like the research, trials, the MHRA approval, the patent (which my wonderful reply was edited out), the point that I had to get across as quickly as possible was the fact that this simple design actually does everything that we say it does. When Peter talked about his own personal experience of a pulmonary embolism, this ended up as almost a 15 minute counselling session, it was incredibly emotional for all of the Dragons' as he's never talked about it before. I was thrilled that they left his statement in the actual broadcast.
It was a tricky thing to understand. In the actual recording (but not aired) I did comment that he was probably the only person who might abide by the rule of his smart watch beeping. Not too sure what he would have done if he was in an important meeting, I doubt he'd say; "I've got to stop now and walk around for 1 minutes". The reality is, we all sit far too long at our desks, at our game consoles, and a beep of a watch is not going to change that. The good thing about the RBR legflow™ is that it's there, sat under your feet all of the time. It's such a simple device, that has some amazing results, some people just don't understand this. Thanks so much for your message. Cheers Paul
Wish the bloke well but..I'm very uneasy with that comment of Suleiman: "I've got contacts within the NHS". The NHS has been ridden into the ground by people on the inside awarding themselves contracts paid for by us the taxpayers. Hancock and co ripped the arse out of covid contracts giving them to their mates / themselves.
A veery valid point. I really want the RBR legflow™ in the NHS as I know what it can really achieve. The NHS is quite a closed shop at times, just having a name of someone to talk to is so vital, as otherwise you either get no feedback or are passed around voicemails.

Touker has a heart of gold
He was wonderful. His association with the RBR legflow™ has been amazing.
Ok thats it, the message on my grave stone is sorted thanks to this show!
I should have listened to my smart watch and breathed
I had a pulmonary embolism in 2004 as a result of a massive DVT in my knee two days after a football injury. The Embolism cut off flow into my lungs and nearly killed me. it would have killed me had I been asleep when it happened. Luckily I was awake and managed to get to hospital on time in order to be saved. My thigh had swelled to 37" in circumference (larger than my waist) and it completely ruined the valves in the femoral vein. Seventeen years later i'm still on an anticoagulant medication and will be for the rest of my life
There is the occasional news item about deep vein thrombosis risks while flying (economy class syndrome) but still, very few people know much about the risks of being immobile for extended periods. They just strapped my knee, gave me painkillers and booked me back in for an x-ray a week later "once the selling had gone down !!" I was very lucky
It's an evolutionary trait in humans. Since human ancestors first stood upright our entire vascular system was essentially compromised, compared to our ancestors who were on all fours, plus the knee joint is very congested with nerves, bones, veins and a major artery, so local swelling can cause havoc with bloodflow which bottlenecks around the knee
One in three people who suffer a pulmonary embolism will die from it if they do not get treatment straight away... treatment is not very easy if you are on a plane !!
I've only gone ahead with one long-haul flight since this happened; a ten hour flight to the Caribbean, where I was hot, cramped and suffered lots of pain and swelling with the after effects (thrombolisis)
This would help and I could see customers happily paying £10 and either taking it with them or leaving it behind for the next person. I'm not sure about the practicalities of interval cleaning by airline staff, but like headphones on flights it may end up being a disposable item (so a recyclable product would be a goal)
Stephen Bartlett is correct that wearable tech like a smartwatch or phone with alarms to remind you not to cross legs and to flex your muscles and move joints would also work
I think Touka is great for getting on board with this.

This is most practical negotiation ever. I don't know why people fight over share. It's better to have something out of a successful business than 100% of nothing.

Nice job Paul

I was wondering whether the long distance bus services are not another avenue to pursue?
Absolutely. In the UK our bus services aren't too long, but several are over 90 minutes. In the US (for example) they can last for hours, so the RBR legflow™ would be ideal for the passengers.

Excellent Tuka! Why wasn’t I surprised that Stephen wasn’t interested! He hasn’t added anything to the show!
Stephen was very interesting to talk to, he has a great belief and faith in technology and digital solutions, and has been incredibly successful with this. The RBR legflow™ probably wasn't his area of expertise. But he did have some very interesting thoughts about digital marketing.
Should be part of pack you get on long haul flights. Blanket etc. Especially for the cheap seats.
Hi Bill, thanks for the comment. This is quite simply one of our goals. We've been trying to work on our pricing so that we can make this as affordable and available to airlines as we possibly can. We're still in talks with various airlines, but it's tough going.
I think with a little tweeking like twisting it to fold into itself that could be a winner with airlines.....

They don't do anything, have no research, trials, or medical approval. Personally I think it's a disgrace they're allowed to be sold.
Congratulations wish you all the best. One question why didn't you patern it from the beginning. You would then had a lot more offers.

Damn... who's the new dragon 🤪
Steven Bartlett, he’s the founder of Social Chain

- Paul
Wondering how successful this business has become with Tucas help?
Paul.

Why wouldn't anyone simply purchase a ball with like protrusions and stabilise it to perform the same exercises?
Knew I should have taken my pet chicken with me...!
Sarah is so watchable
Sara is an incredibly switched on and astute business woman, she's also more than pleased to offer guidance and advice, a lot of which we took on-board straight away.
@@rbractive6588 maybe he didn't mean it like that
How long ago was this filmed? I really hope things have gone well for you since the show :) Have your meetings with Toukas contacts gone well? Thank you for making me aware of this, i never knew it was a problem, would it work for me? I'm bed bound etc all the time - I'd love to see suction cups added to the product, i could stick it on my bed and do some exercises :D
We filmed last July (2021) had to keep quiet for soooooo long....! What do you use at the moment since you're bed bound? I presume you're on some sort of anticoagulant (like warfarin maybe)?
@@rbractive6588 It must have been hard! My mum has been in the same situation haha - I hope things are going well though!
They've not put me on anything even though I've been bed bound for the past 6 years - it's pretty bad honestly, I'm just on Morphine and Pregabalin for pain and Baclofen to control my spasms
You would think with what year this was made that it would be produced better lol
The women almost got triggered when Peter said it was a plastic bra for travel 😅
Was one of the funniest things I think I've ever heard on the Dragons' Den ...!
Touker took it for social cause, not to make money. He has other options to make money.
They don't explain what Thrombosis is...
Hi Jarednil69, when we filmed (which too nearly 2 hours) I did talk about Thrombosis, and the signs to be aware of, I think that maybe when they edited the recording, they must have edited this out. I talked about our campaign seekHELP
H - heat
E - excessive redness
L - localised swelling
P - pain
I also talked about the wonderful campaign by the National Blood Clot Alliance - Stop the Clot
@@rbractive6588 Thanks didn't expect you to answer 🤗👍
@@jarednil69 Will always reply. The whole experience was surreal, but amazing. All I wanted to do was raise awareness as much as I could.
I don't believe Barkley where is sesame street 😂😂😂😂🇹🇹 sorry men I can't make you an offer!!Emlo world took over for some time now then birt🎉😂✌️
there now on planes .... roller foot rest
One would think after suffering with a DVT that guy would lose some weight
A very fair thing to say, as weight, can increase the risk of blood clots. My incident was caused by a knee injury I developed whilst playing tennis, at the time I was (well, not as big as I am now). Subsequently, exercise has been very tricky. I do try and watch what I eat, and drink, but it has been quite a long (and at time physically and mentally very challenging). I'm now back swimming (which is the safest and less problematic exercise I can do), so hopefully in the New Year I will be less round.
@@rbractive6588 I'm sorry to bring it up . But my wife was in a similar incident, and she was overweight. It's horrible thing to happen
@@rsb8653 absolutely no worries at all. I miss a G&T though...!! Medication doesn't allow it..!🤣
I like the story and the idea, but how i this different to just wiggling your legs and doing this type of exercise without the gadget? I don't geddit
our research shows that by just moving the feet alone doesn't actually increase blood-flow whilst sedentary.
What a fail that even a handshake on a business deal is deemed too risky
When you look at that thing on your wrist that gives you a reminder every hour to breathe, does it also tell you when you're being a pain in the a$$.
@@friendlypiranha774 I sort of forgot for a while, turned out it wasn't my fault 😂
@@rbractive6588, take a deep breath and you should be ok. 😂😂😂
Have a great day further. ☺
I found that odd how does he survive if he forgets to breath or is he some kind of alien and only breaths air to not stand out so has the watch to remind him 😂
Did deal go through
Not yet....! A lot has changed since we filmed and the episode was broadcast, but the support and guidance we've had has all been extremely valuable.
@@rbractive6588 All the best. Can you tell us a little bit on the process that happens after the shoot, if that's possible. Surely a 20 minute pitch isn't enough to invest that kind of money and a lot happens post the shoot.
@@rbractive6588 Wow didn't know it takes that long. Thanks for taking time to reply, hope you do great with the business
Tuker's fukkin cuff insignia 🤠I was expecting to see Elliott if he stretched his arm
Youngest dragon being naive with thinking a $300+ watch competes with a $10 product lol
Cheers
Paul
Damn whose that new dragon, he's yummy.
This is a great product
Did he succeed?
We're doing OK.... www.rbractive.com
