The best vid yet on explaining crypto and associated markets. This from a trading intraday and short-medium or long term point of view. Was impressed that you showed the market cycle. Also the way you explained it. Regardless if it is stocks, currency, precious metals or real estate, crypto, that is being invested in, there is a cycle. As now crypto is a confirmed asset class, You already have taught me so much. Appreciate your time and effort in making the vid. ...I managed to grow a nest egg of around 3Btc’s to a decent 21Btc’s…At the heart of this evolution is Seren Wintersun, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Her holistic approach to investment and commitment to staying abreast of market trends make her an invaluable ally in navigating this new era in cryptocurrency investment....
This is exactly what Big time investors are talking about, not just you. key thing here is to always trades with a good strategy even if the price goes up or down.
Seren goes deeper than just looking at surface-level trends.. she explores technical, fundamental, and sentiment analysis, offering a comprehensive perspective on the market..
The pump and dump has been a perfect eyeopener for us all to really see how unpredictable the market can be and the need for us to be trading not just seat and hodl.
Very interesting thank you for this, perhaps one day you could do a video on the Network effect and it's relation to the Kaspa adoption rate/hash rate.. But yes welcome back, really glad to have such an intelligent, well informed and level headed Kaspa ambassador!!
Do not add Solana in the expression. There is nothing in Solana that could be inherited by Kaspa. All good you know about Solana that you might think is inherited by Kaspa is fake.
I wasn't expecting a Plan K video that references the 2nd law. Your first 20 minutes will hopefully be a primer to a wonderful world of exploration for those who watch. Glad to see you back.
Kaspa is the only crypto that has a chance of becoming the bed rock of the new world financial system and the global reserve currency there are no others that come close to
Glad to see you're back making FA videos. I just find much more value in these than price chart speculations, although I understand these take way more effort to make. Keep it up!
How does the entropic / energy dissipation analysis square with Kaspa's kHeavyHash algorithm being optical-miner ready? In optical mining there's very little energy being dissipated through heat.
The cost of the optical miner will require energy to produce. Just like the value of gold having the cost of the dynamite, drills, and wages of personnel at the mine baked into it
@@Staterstacker Well said. Exactly my thoughts, too. If anything, optical mining would be more energy efficient because much less of the energy is released as heat. Instead, the energy is more confined to the production of the mining equipment, as you note.
I wouldn't call the equally spaced atoms at the heat death of the universe "ordered" because the possible positions, the number of possible configurations of those atoms is the highest number of possible states. Though milk in coffee 'looks' more disordered when it is half way mixed in it is the most disordered after it is fully mixed, again, because milk components and coffee components are in the highest possible number of positions. A dice is highest entropy if it is a fair dice. Though the coffee isn't trippy and disordered any more after it is mixed entropy has the be a measurement in time and space. Which is odd kind of paradoxical for the most fundamental property of the universe.
Amazing stuff as usual PlanK. I'm starting to think you might be a physics grad like myself. A much more talented one than myself though. Also, what do you make of the dissenters who say Kaspa is "programmed to fail" i.e price won't be able to keep up the aggressive emission schedule? I've seen alot of it recently on X. I don't really know enough about mining economics or tokenomics to work out if its just FUD or something for us Kaspians to be worried about. Do you have any thoughts on it?
Bitcoin's security comes from its difficulty. Nakamoto set the difficulty so that a block can only be found every 10 minutes. He could have set the block time to 1 minute. But then the security would be lower. Why? Because it is more difficult for the nodes in the network to keep the blockchain synchronized. This makes it easier to launch attacks. Furthermore, with a large number of transactions there is the problem that nodes are operated less by private individuals and more by institutions because large amounts of data are required. What do you say about that?
You could have called it for Kaspa as the new world currency along the way at many stages. But when the world's largest Bitcoin miner started mining it while at the same time little home miners are able to get blocks solo mining... It's over for any and all other networks.
the second law is wrong though. That version is. Heat does not flow from hot to cold. It flows randomly, and in that randomness its vastly more likely to go from a hot to cold, but it is possible that the opposite occurs. Here you have a good explanation: ua-cam.com/video/DxL2HoqLbyA/v-deo.htmlsi=7O_aAdhBgSTB8cIY&t=663
the video trying to rigourously prove that kaspa is superior. I know the market doesn't hear that well. the video is a bomb but I think it only works in the long term, decades, generations. It's almost irrelevant in the short term. I hope I'm wrong :) We are early, and these are the good news. the bad news, is that we are maybe 'Too' early for kaspa.. let's hope the best for kaspa :)
You are wrong bitcoin has paved the way for kaspa to be adopted much more quickly and efficiently, this has been predicted by the founders and so far it is on track, Kaspa is on another the only true crypto currency solving the money trilemma, it is inevitable .
Gold is not valuable because energy went into extracting it, and most certainly not becaue of the energy that went into fusing it inside a star. If we could pick up gold on the beach, which would cost us zero energy, but no more than we can dig out of the ground, gold would still be just as valuable. Gold is valuable becaue it best meets all the criteria for money, where scarcity is one of them. There was nothing wrong with glass beeds as money, as long as the societies in Africa that used them did not know how to mass produce glass. The Europeans fucked that up for them. Glass beeds, if you do not know how to make them and are reliant on picking them up in nature, are better money than silver because unlike silver, glass is not reactive. Silver is not considered money anymore because it is way more reactive than gold, and therefore not as good to be stored over time, but the crucial issue being that it is very easy to extract silver from the ground, compared to gold, so every time the gold price goes up, silver production goes up, and the price drops again. Yes, gold is expensive to extract, but that is not the reason for its value, it only adds to it, it is the scarcity of gold. Gold production cannot easily be increased. Gold production has only every exceeded the ca 2.5% per year twice since WW2 - despite the enourmous efforts and industrialisation applied to gold extraction since then. Likewise, BTC is not valuable becaue it cost money to mine BTC, if that were true, the price of BTC would be the few Cents or dollars in electricity cost for mining a Bitcoin. BTC is valuable because it also meets the criteria for money, and again, scarcity being one of them, where it is even better than gold, which inflates 2.5% a year as we mine more of it, while BTC has a max supply, and is actually deflationary since the last halving (less BTC being mined per year now than is lost due to loss of seed phrases, wallets etc).
Silver is a noble metal, like gold. It is ever so slightly more reactive than gold, but only under certain conditions and not enough to make it wither away over time. It will tarnish when exposed to sulphur but this process is self limiting to only the surface of the metal, i.e microns thick later of tarnish. Annual silver mining output has been lagging the demand for the last 5 years or so.
@@michaelwhite3478 Silver oxidizes, that is why there is silver polish but no gold polish, that it why it gets a patina. Only gold is very hard to get to react with anything. Relevant is that we can cranck silver prroduction up if we want to, not whether we are currently doing it or not.
Only Plan K can make us learn physics and chemistry in a Kaspa video 😂🙌
This is what made me be part of the Kaspa community. Intelligent people saying intelligent stuff.
Plan K drops a video, today’s a good day.
This is a gigabrain 10,000 foot overview, and I love every second of it. Fantastic work bro.
