When abarth was available there were many other options like the polo gts, and many hatch and sedans with diesel engines providing decent performance like the i20 diesel, verna diesel and the figo diesel etc. Abarth was just not practical enough with fiat's reliability and longevity concerns same with now days VW group. They never updated the interiors. The last few years it was way behind in terms of everything. I myself purchased a gt 1.6 tdi after test driving them both.
I am ecosport owner from last 3 years and driven my car almost 40,000 kms and it is giving me fuel economy of 22-23.5 kmpl in 1.5L diesel with driving pleasure 😍

My understanding of the reason why Hyundai doesn’t have a manual in this version is because Hyundai’s view is that the IMT is better than the manual (all fun of manual gear change without the clutch) and they view DCT as better than IMT because you still give option of paddle shifters to manually change gears. All their DCT cars have paddle shifters. And if it isn’t financially making sense for an IMT version, then it should not make sense for a manual version either.
IMT is fine for city use but it is pathetic when you try to launch or shift gears quickly. DCT tuning is also slower than what it should be (Creta/Seltos has faster shifts) and a proper manual should be offered. Having 2 automatic (proper and partial) in one car is stupidity by Hyundai
@@ankit22sharma maybe my experience wasn't great with IMT, test drive unit issue but you also understand there's no point having 2 different automatic options right. A proper manual and proper auto DCT should be fine for Nline products.
@Suyash Kaul U must be joking. IMT shifts are so fast. You don't even have to worry about clutch ..pull the gear lever as quickly as u can..just ensure you shift down before rpm drops..
Booked the 2024 Venue N Line yesterday, that too a manual. Comes with a safety first Dash Cam with dual cameras. It drives too good. Manual and a turbo petrol is something what we need today. My Last car was a 2016 Punto 90 HP Diesel.
Would rather buy Kushaq Ambition 1.0 TSI at maximum ₹1 lac over 1.0 TC N-Line Venue. Kushaq offers bigger Cabinspace, better TSI Engine with almost the same feature list. Muje lagta hai Bevkof Hoge joh Cosmetic Venue facelift per itne paise dalega.
Thats quite a lot for 60k but still the unstable body structure and the fact that India bound venue has different platform and less uses of hss makes it a real unsafe vehicle to buy

Each one of us count the new Brezza as costly affair but what about venue. Gives 1000 litre turbo charger engine and comes around 13.15 lacs . As compared to new Brezza it comes with 1.5 litre naturally aspirated engine . Even though just by giving features doesn't add value . What adds value is safety of the car first . Let's see how both cars will perform in GNCAP.

Venue might not be as reliable in 10-15yrs but it will be a lot more fun than uncle mentality Brezza plus those engines with c series are pathetic in midrange now, almost dead and not like VTEC that you can enjoy them. Brezza shouldn't be compared here as it is targeted towards a different mentality of buyer

Brezza should be the winner as most people don't care about performance and the fuel cost hovers around 100 so it's a natural thing it sells more..plus it is an all rounder with space, safety, reliability covered. But that doesn't mean Venue should be cheaper, a DCT/turbo combo is costly plus rear disc brakes and sharper steering rack do cost more. Brezza has a very lifeless steering but that doesnt matter to it's targeted audience. Here, it does

Why n line I think it is another way to attract customers with out actually adding enhancement. They should give 1.5l turbo petrol.
