Forget your cheesy jump up trills & blaring fog horns. This is what drums is, soulful, deep & complex. So much talent currenlty within the 1985 crew / flexout audio / shogun audio arenas.
Long Shanx Imagine thinking a music genre can’t be criticised. He doesn’t look silly, you just look sensitive cuz u sit in ur uni bedroom blasting jump up.
@@dnbstreamer Jump up culture is toxic, raves full of 20 something year olds banging md with skin fades, skinny jeans & tn's. Sonically as well it is just marketed festival music, going down the same path as dubstep did in the late 2010s just becoming a competition to see who can make louder & harsher snares & 808's.
@@DRU3T why hate people we are talking about music haha. i know what you are saying but if you can find some jump up tunes that arent nails on chalk boards and are dirty bass with good drums then its good imo
I've been listening to Drum n Bass & Jungle for well over 20 years now, I still I find myself in awe of the how producers are constantly evolving, progressing and pushing the sound.......... as I know how difficult it is to make....... believe me I've been trying for quite a while now haha! Sure there were some iffy moments, when everything sounds the same and it sort of lost it's soul a bit, but you have to get through those times and eventually your patience is greatly rewarded. Like with this beauty..... So much clarity, depth of space and nice dynamics, not squashed to death, it has a bit of soul to it as well, which I believe, is important! I honestly think DnB is in a very good place at the minute and I won't stop loving it any time soon.
I couldn't agree more. I was raving to micky finn and grooverider etc when it was Jungle. Changed my life and taste as was a house head until 95. Alex reece with pulp fiction started the dnb scene with some amazing tracks coming out over the next few years. When all the neuro stuff with the same lfo bass came around it went a bit stale. With the likes visages, monty, invadhurtz to name a few make amazing musical master pieces these days and puts DnB in a great place. and I also know how producing ain't easy to keep it fresh. I can tell you know about production from the way you praised this track. It does have depth and soul with funky fx and space for all the elements. Simplicity is far more pleasing done right than over complicated contrived pieces. Plus dnb is one of the hardest genres to make. House is easy in my opinion, 4 on the floor, clap 2nd 4th beat, chord stabs an side chained bass an your away. Peace
so deeply liquid funk dat, sounds like early makoto and i hear sime notes from noisia with softly motives from trip hop, yeah baby, definitely incoming in my running playlist
I don't know why but I like Visages and Data 3 style. GLXY or Artificial Intelligence style is boring for me I prefer this. It's more original than other liquid dnb. Much love for Visages from Poland
This is what makes drum and bass THE best genre of all time!
Yeah dat
