Great reaction, Mitchell! This Zulu youth choir reached the finals of America's Got Talent 2019 and signed a contract with Sony. Whenever Amira sings in her soprano yet authentic voice, she makes history. Amira has brought tens of millions to appreciate the versatility, richness and beauty of a soprano voice, because she uses her genuine voice, without artificial affectations. That's why she became the most popular soprano of all time, that's why she already has her place of honor in music history, that's why she's a glorious queen.
A great reaction ! Amira and the choir are in perfect harmony, and her high notes are more and more impressive. By the way, Amira turned 20 years old this week ! Last month, she started her Bachelor of music studies at Pretoria. She chose voice as a first instrument, of course, and orchestral conducting as a second instrument. As you saw, her starting level as a college student seems to be rather satisfactory.... 😄 You could react to her recent rendition of the aria "Ebben ? Ne andrò lontana" by Alfredo Catalani, it's gorgeous ! And also, as Graeme said, to her interpretation of Ave Maria by William Gomez, which is an absolute masterpiece.
Your facial expressions were priceless & it’s great to have a Reactor getting so emotionally absorbed in a performance that still gives me goosebumps, even after watching it endless times. Her other outstanding new release “Down From His Glory “ is a duet which was recorded by each of them separately in different countries. Amira in South Africa & David ( her duet partner ) in the USA.
You can see Amira’s strong faith emerge through her passionate delivery (David also ). She is actually living the lyrics which happens to be delivered in a song. BRILLIANT ! ! !
Also, one performance you’ve missed is “ Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church “ when Amira was just 11yo. Put this one down as a MUST react performance. Never, ever, will anyone get even close to singing this song as well as Amira.

What a brilliant reaction. The choir are from the zulu province of Limpopo, South Africa has 11 official languages for the various peoples who live there. Zulu is one of them. The second line the choir sings sounds a bit like coos a lunga, I believe that translate's as All will be well. It is representative of the songs feeling. Amen is originally a Hebrew word, it's just adopted into English.
Amira's organisation Gelukskinders, which is a charity for south African children, won an anti-racism award last year. She is a great believer in brotherhood and integration.
Another song which is similar in theme and style by her, was recorded when she was 14, it's called Hallelujah. It's not the Leonard Cohen song by the same name, but you might like it.
I'll listen to anything by Amira, she is a gorgeous singer.

Someone did post the translation of the lyrics on the video... maybe in the comments on the first release of it when I asked..
I can't remember the exact words but it was to the meaning of either the whole world belongs to god .. or we praise the god of the whole world..

You are definitely excited experiencing this extremely powerful hymn, hard not to be so affected. However, i do agree with your critics about singing along; it takes the focus off of the performers and on to yourself. Most reactors i have watched are generally quiet as they are watching. Then 2 or 3 times during the song, they pause to make their comments. Also, constant swearing (taking the Lord's name in vain, ie, G_d D_ _n) certainly distracts from what they are trying to achieve! Praising and trusting the Lord. Amira as a faithful Christian lady would not be happy with such crudeness. May i suggest listening to the song beforehand so you can go wild all you want. It sounds like you have had other viewers express the same thoughts but you have chosen to ignore. Poor customer service doesn't grow your business. Looking forward to your next Amira reaction.
