@@greatflyer_aviation Yeah really interesting ! I love the evolution you had since the beginning of your channel ! Few years ago I was watching your 737 sim tutorial and build mine like yours 😆 follow you since ! beginning my ATPL theory since 1 week and I can't wait to follow your path as a airline pilot ! Can't wait for other video too !
Hi Great videos Great Flyer! I'm going to FTA Brighton in the summer to renew my IR Multi. It's been around 5 years since I have flown a fly and never in a Diamond. I've recently bought an iPad 5 mini could you recommend apps that would be beneficial to my training? What apps do you use in the cockpit?
Hi there, thanks for watching! I never used any apps during my flight training or hour building, other than Jeppview on my personal iPad during my IR at FTA. The ones I use in the 737 are provided by the company. Gotta love paper charts and pencil! Enjoy your training!
@@greatflyer_aviation Thanks yeah its great watching your videos so inspiring! I'm due to start in August so I think I'll wait until maybe a month before and then download the maps\charts 650 bucks for an annual subscription is hefty enough for a student pilot :/ On a different note, how did you mount your GoPro in the DA42 I'm hoping to bring my GoPro and record the flight as this would be a great benefit to me on the ground.
Very good video. As a trainee pilot currently doing IFR theory, it would be great if you had subtitles. It would really help me out as my flight school operates in uncontrolled airspace and I don't get into controlled very much and it would tremendously help with my radiotelephony if you subbed this
Hi there, thanks for watching! I would recommend that you go over some other videos of mine operating in/out of controlled airspace in the DA42, DA40, C172 and PA28. However, I am working on the subtitles for this video!
@@greatflyer_aviation Just strange with the switch between England and Cyprus. I just started my CPL as well! So the DA40 and PA28 are all very familiar to me! Thanks for the content Demetris.
Thank you so much for watching! I may have confused you indeed, I am currently back in England for my type rating however since I can't film I am bringing back some footage from my training which was not uploaded.
Thanks for watching Nick! English is the international language of aviation, however some states prescribe in their AIP that either English or the state's official language can be used on the radio.
I suppose you are asking if you need good school grades? Many airlines will not even require proof of completion of secondary education; that being said, some airlines list specific requirements, such as 5 A-levels etc. You can check out their requirements online.
in my country Turkey, we can apply for Turkish Airlines Flight Academy after having associate degree which is can be obtained easily. They provide the flight training and we gotta pay for it from our salary after we become a commerical pilot. it might be a little risky but a good opportunity for people who want to be a pilot in an easier way but have no money. otherwise, you will need extreme grades for pilotage college with full scholarship.
French pilot here ! Amazing video, love these Da42 instruction video with audio, that's very eductional to train for english phraseology exam !
Thank you so much for watching! Check out my other videos flying in the UK for more phraseology, if interested ✈️

Excellent video! Would love to do an international flight during training like that
It was plenty of fun to cross an international boundary!

Very cool to see, I'm starting my ME and IR ME on DA42 soon ;-)
Best of luck! I have a "top 10 tips" video on passing my instrument rating, make sure you check it out :)

Are there two pilots behind this channel? Where do all the in-cockpit views of various planes come from?
Hi Adam, it's just myself behind the channel. Thanks for staying tuned!

Funny how the French traffic controllers switch languages..
I thought English was the international language to be used at all times on RT?

Me too!
I made a cockpit in my basement
Do u need school grades to be a pilot
Privately no, commercially and military yes.
