Man, it's incredible how much you guys have improved your animation over time. I just love the style.
Oh snap what's up goat.
Fancy seeing you here I love your work ❤️
It's just Ian, unless I'm mistaken.
Dude works so impossibly hard.
It's just Ian. Doing his thing. Being the badass he is!
ian does everything besides voice acting characters other than Steve
These are so honkin' good! The passion of "HE'S A MAN WITH A MEDICAL DEGREE!" at 2:02 was the winner for me this time around. Big Top was top stuff from day 1, but Cesare really brings a ...special energy
UA-camr Chris Fleming is a flowing river of “angry witticisms” and is therefore a wise choice to play the “evil” Cesare in these. His hilarious series (Gayle) is so filled with vitriol that i eventually had to stop watching it… he’s relentless… Chris knows “evil” all too well! 😆
I really feel like season 2 shifts focus from Big Top to Zomburger. Like the new ending song? That's super Zomburger.
@@unkatom gayle is an unironic modern masterpiece
@@Lucifersfursona Oh its quite hilarious, i just find that variety of bitter humor… somewhat exhausting? I just can’t laugh at a character thats that horrible inside. Not without thinking about what drive them to the behavior in the first place.
Or what drove Chris Fleming to create such a maniacal beast as Gayle!
Poor Chris!
@@JubJubtheWonderHippo Sometimes the “side” character gets all the fans… they wrote Star Trek around Kirk, but Spock got all the fan mail.
Well, this explains how Zomburger was able to just casually replace their food truck that Steve destroyed
And also how they can stay in business selling bad food.
He's just purely committed to the meme of bad food Instagram posts.
something that cracks me up about this video is that the burger panel guy's voice somehow resonates at such a specific frequency that my phone plays almost no sound at all when he talks. This isn't an issue with any other devices. Every time I watch this on my phone I forget and the video opens with quiet gargling. I lose my shit
So it seems to be a mobile issue. Crazy lmao
I thought the audio was fucked brb
sound engineer here, its because the audio is doubled and playing almost 100% to the left in one track and almost 100% to the right on the other. So, listening in stereo you hear it twice and it sounds enveloping and wide, but hearing it in mono both sounds get combined and cancel each other almost perfectly
@@germanrodriguez1842 wow!! thank you so much for the information, i never would have figured that out on my own lol
I am so glad to read this comment thread, because I thought I was going nuts. I did NOT remember it sounding this way when I watched the first time through, lol
The sheer "whAT" of Penny's delivery completely overpowering whatever filter was on the microphone was an exceptional touch. 😘👌
The puff of air on the mic when Penny remarks in surprise around 2:11 kills me for some reason. Like it just feels so genuine, like the voice actress literally didn't know.
I love her voice
2:12
I honestly kinda want "HE'S A MAN WITH A MEDICAL DEGREE" to become a meme, man that delivery was so good
The fact that Cesare is implied to be a vampire but doesnt offer dental insurance is such a good detail and I love it
I SAW THE NOTIFICATION AND IMMEDIATELY CLICKED. I LOVE THIS SERIES THANK YOU FOR MAKING MORE
Same here
lmao same
Saaaame literally screamed
SAME
SAME
I honestly love the voice actors with their diff mics in different environments. Theres an immediacy to it, its endearing.
I think Steve's power is based on how funny the situation is and a NORMAL backpack and NORMAL lunch box is too much for him
Edit: if Steve wasn't raised by clowns (hes the only one we see) he wouldn't understand his power/weakness BUT CESARE WOULD
*TOO NORMAL*
YESSSSS
Genius
Mind blown
Oh no.
I really like how Cesare actually cares about his employees. He isn’t even evil just kinda mean
This aged so poorly
Yep turns out he’s evil and mean.
Explain
We need redder ketchup
Do you think the blood of Splatterface contestants would be ideal for making ketchup redder?
I'd buy it.
And more yellow in the mustard. Perhaps an increase of green in the relish. There's still so much work to do in burger science.
Urist likes ketchup, for its exquisite redness.
I love how we get one update a year and they advance the story in no way but they are always more enjoyable than the last
Actually I think it's about five months between each episode's release,
Oh the story is advancing alright…, we know Cesare has a mysterious money hole
@@voidnoidoid and we know the two crews are learning about each other. They bonding! Theyll get to the bottom of steve and ceasar together
I absolutely love Steve's whines and whimpers here, and I definitely feel like we're starting to brush against some REAL LORE soon... but the one constant is how unbelievably enjoyable Penny's voice acting and animated expressions are, I love them so much
This is just a masterpiece that I love also 1:51 how he just turns into a demon or something caught me off guard
1:53 and 3:31 are def my favorite scenes/panels in this one! I love how specifically vampire guy and Steve are the ones who go cartoonish often, it really shows how they're probably not human like the rest!
zombie
Cesare is a zombie
When you're paid thousands per hour, I feel like dental not being included isn't the worst thing
"redder ketchup, and more yellow in the mustard" These are truly the next wave of burger innovation. What will they come up with next? More sesame in the buns? Preposterous.
We really are living in the future, aren't we?
Grill marks on the burgers? Scandalous.
The future is NOW.
WAIT THAT'S IT
Sesame seeds -IN- THE ACTUAL BUN BREAD
More sesame in the seeds.
Cesare: He's a man with a medical degree!
Me: Is he really? Why would he be working in a food truck then?
Francis: We get paid thousands of dollars an hour.
Me: Oh...well that would explain it.
Honestly I can't agree more
Actually he’s a theatre major, it’s his character that has the medical degree.
@@johnterrencesmith2148 Lol yeah. I remember Cesare said that last episode. Me wondering why he would be working on a food truck while also having medical degree was, like, the first thought that crossed my mind when I watched this lol. Medical degree or not though, Doctor's making bank 😆
They’d be making millions a year dawg, that shits crazy
@@johnterrencesmith2148 I mean, technically he could major in theatre and then go to med school, as long as he also completed the required prerequisites. It's not an unheard-of career path, esp for people based in cities like LA who want to keep good career options open incase their acting dreams fall through, or vice versa.
I love how the rival food trucks with the exception of Cesare and Steve are really polite and friendly to each other.
There's something real wholesome about that.
I like how the other visitors aren't even bothered by the screaming. "Just another regular day at the Burger Truck Expo"
Seems Cesare never misses a Burger Truck Expo, so yeah I’m sure this is expected at this point
2:03
I love How Cesare is panicking and Conrad just shakes Doctor calmly like this has happened before 💀
Alright so there’s 4 holes that are integral to this story.
1) the one Steve made when he crash landed
2) the one Caesar gets all that money from
3) the one Caesar made when he slammed Steve down
4) the one that Conrad thought was the food truck expo
The squeaky cry for help that croaks out of Steve's mouth is beautiful.
Somehow it feels like each voice actor has their own recording studio with things that make their voices unique
they are doing it from different locations as far as i know...pretty sure some of them are just doing it from their house
Dude I was just thinking about that. Maybe it's related to the intro or maybe some lore? Idk.
Wait, if Cesare just has a literal money pit he pays his employees from, does that mean he's running his food truck to fuck with Steve?
Considering he's giving Steve heavy items knowing that they are heavy he most likely is.
It's not always about the money spiderman. It's about fucking over some clowns.
I feel like that's a crime hiding money in a hole like that?
Oh he definitely is.
The money in the hole isn't illegal in itself, but the tax evasion is! :)
Can we take a second to appreciate the total earnest and sincerity in which the lines "We need redder ketchup. We need more yellow in the mustard." were delivered? 10/10
I’m honestly shocked you got THE Tom Willett to play himself as the speaker. The amount of effort and respect I have for this niche reference is impressive. Keep doing the great work.
Sorry to break it to you, but Tom Willett has appeared in this show before on the suspicious child episode. This came before whatever reference you're thinking of.
Am I missing the joke or was everything he said silent?
it cancels out on speakers for some reason. wear some headphones and itll work
His two clones in the stands even have a watermelon with two holes in it. It's a nice little easter egg.
Hes winning the mental battle by simply giving this man gifts that are heavy. Golden.
The way Steve whimpers “Help...” like a tiny dog that just got kicked destroyed me.
I had to watch that twice
I like how the way this episode is mixed means that if you listen to it on a mono speaker like a phone, the guy speaking at the panel is completely inaudible
Oh so that's the problem I'm having. Weird
@@Akay4444444444444444 basically, the phase of his voice is inverted between the left and right channels, so if those channels are combined to mono they cancel out.
Huh, I never considered that.
They fact that the announcer unintentionaly sounds like underwater mumbling without headphones got me laughing so hard, it made me think Cesare was really deep into and agreeing to pure mumble 🤣👍
"without headphones" made me fucking choke and immediately go get my headphones. How did I miss this?!?
Oh good that isn't just me, I thought my phone speaker was going out.
Holy shit, I just listened to it without headphones. How does that even work??
weird. it sounds like underwater mumbling with headphones, but I think my headphones are broken.
It's so good bro. this is the way it was meant to be seen
I like how the "Eating a watermelon with my clone" guys are just there with no explanation.
The voice actor of the speaker made that video lol, along with the dried up bones song, Tom Willett is a legend
i think it really adds to the vibe that the presenters voice gets hella mangled when your audio is set to mono. thats how public event audio sounds to me irl
I never seen anyone "out-steve" Steve like Caesar. Seriously this was the most normal I've seen Steve in this episode. The dude just wanted to mind his buisness this time.
I don’t know why but the money hole being “potentially illegal” is the best part for me
I love this series so much and I’m always disappointed when the episodes end but having experience in animation myself the first thing that comes to mind is how long it would have taken to produce this 4.30 minute video of this quality.
I find it really interesting that while Tim in most of the first season tends to be a really observant person, he seems to be 100% oblivious to Steve having any trouble with Cesare's gifts... This show is really good at offering a lot of character development through subtle details.
2:56 I love the fact that there’s a little guitar thing when he says “It’s-it’s durable!”
When I heard the guitar at first I though he was gonna try to sell me the backpack lol
@@awsomelyrandomstuff916 it does give off that vibe.
i thought he was gonna start singing
2:42 the flash of the mascot just turned away facing the corner got me
I'm living for how low-key excited Tim is about the backpack.
I’m crying I used to love the cameo but now.. 😭
"I see many familiar faces"
cut to a shot of two guys who look exactly like him...
you had me laughing straight away dude
Look up "Eating Watermelon With My Clone"
Wait so people can actually understand what he's saying? On my end the guy is all garbled and everyone else is fine.
HES A GOOD MAN. A DOCTOR. THE MAN HAS A MEDICAL DEGREE!
The implication that Doctor may actually have a medical degree on top of the theater major is great
As someone whos grown up with youtube from 2007 to current time, This is quite possibly my favourite series on youtube by far.
Nothing warms my heart like Ceasar somehow being a much more pro worker employer than most owners in real life.
2:48 The way Cesare says "back pack" is so weird, it makes me crack up 🤣
Every time I hear Chris Fleming talk as Cesare I just get this big smile on my face. He puts so much emotion and emphasis on all of his lines and I love his character 😄
Absolutely obsessed with the fact that the burger association is a soin off of the roadkill association is absolutely incredible
The way I can hear the microphone when Penny goes "WH-WHAT?!?!" just makes it even funnier.
