Can I just say that I love the KnifeCenter joke. It is too damn funny 😆. Great collection I wish I had a Koenig Arius. I have a Chris Reeve Sebenza 31 in Magnacut which fixed the issue I had with them previously being that they used S45VN which I wasn’t a fan of but man it’d be nice to have a Arius to go with it.
The collaboration is so freshly established that I don’t think there was even a proto at shot, but Spyderco is gonna make a Lamia. You’ve probably heard by now, though.
Hey Brian thanks for the update. Last I heard was Richie and Lindy We're coming out to hang out with ya and recommend that yall should check out some of Shurap's YT videos. Justin Kaye Sheldon dude makes some ridiculous Damascus pattern blades And he makes it look stupid easy . Anyway haven't heard much from Richie or Lindy lately I'm guessing they just have the same problem you are busy busy busy.
Hmmm have you tried a TRM knife? That seems like it might be up your alley :P Plus I'm curious about what they run their 20cv HRC to. Great collection!
Trm use Peter's heat treat, and its from 61 to 62rc generally. In outpost76 cardboard cut testing 61 didn't do that well, somewhere from low to mid 200ft cut. 62rc cut in the low 300s which is the minimum range it should perform in. For perspective, the protocol that Reate uses, in 60-61rc range 350-400 ft.
@@tacticalcenter8658 Thanks for the info! Always was curious, the data really helps. Interesting that Reate gets 60-61 can preform better than TRM 61 by almost double. I figured the thin geometry of TRM's stuff would help it perform better too. Must be missing something then. Thanks again for the info!
I like the Koenig craftsmanship, I don't like the design. Some aspects are nice but I wish they made something more my style. And if they use the same designer, it won't be something I prefer. But overall I wish I had one of their knives in a different design. I think they are great at manufacturing from the two ive handled.
Yep design is polarizing for sure. I've grown to like it but I thought it was ugly initially. I think i made myself like it because the quality is so good and there arent many other US options this good
Do you think you’ll ever make/put together a “perfect” AD20.5 that you’ll carry & use regularly? I was thinking maybe you’re kinda sick of seeing/handling them after doing so maybe reblades, but you’ve got a Bugout in your collection so seems like fair game?
USA made stuff is in fact often not very good. Specifically if you're looking at things based on value, dollar for dollar, then it's no contest, but even that aside... USA made often just means premium price and mediocre quality. that's just what it is. unless you're buying from small businesses and stuff like that.
Great opener!! Thanks for sharing!!
A good SAK that you customize and share with us would be awesome!!! Do it, just do it.
Nice collection !
Love those bladeless knives. They are never a problem until you try to cut something and then oh well you know what I mean lol
‘Approximately 3000-5000 years.” Lol. Great set. Thanks for the fire content. Cheers
Sweet collection Brian 👍
Love that Romano he’s a real craftsman i’m lucky enough to own a couple of his slipjoints
The Koenig Arius is one that as soon as I held one I knew that someday I would be trying to get one. Not yet but that is one that I really want.
Awesome I love knife collection videos
Perfect collection !
NOT TRUE! IM ASKING YOU TO POST VIDEOS!!!!! LOL
😂 I'ma do it i swear!
Cool video Brian. I'm not really surprised that you don't have more.
Absolutely gorgeous Brian ! Definitely appreciate all u do and what u do ! Top notch 🤙🏼🔥
Nice collection Brian and great story's behind them. thanks for sharing. Greetings from Austria, Europe
Man you need to make time for yourself lol. Can't wait to see those reblades!
You might like Quiet Carry's Drift or Waypoint

yep im looking forward to it
That’s awesome dude, I have Rosie #1063. Sounds like I have you to thank for it being at a legit hardness. Thank you!
🔥🔥🙏
Just your handle collection is better than my knife collection 💀
Been a big fan of yours for a while. I'm pumped to see you doing more on YT. Also Blade-Play is first rate.
How did you polish the blade on your para 3? It looks beautiful!

@@ShoutenKen23 microstructure matters. Check out the video.
I tried out a couple a loooong time ago but nothing recent. I would like to handle something newer, like a newtron(?), shadow, etc.
Would you buy a gen 2 lamia or one of your reblade 20.5's? I can't decide.
Killer collection Brian!

Pivot play for 800$, hard to hear…. Super nice collection ^^
Try Herman Sting?
I have never handled a Herman, I want to though!
@@transparentknives He make them with M398, i wonder at what hardness??

Maybe get a Shirogorov neon.
im considering it, but i really really want a smaller liner lock shiro. hopefully one day they'll make one
@@transparentknives I hope they do too. I'd much rather have a liner lock than a frame lock. That's why I have an f3 and a 111. Lol.
That sounds like pretty low effort, yeah let's do that. Lol
No more baby banter?
I still have it but it's beat up enough that its more of a random knife i have lying around than a collection piece
