Good job on the floor. A job i have got to do myself on the 66. I am wondering why you are stripping the panel of paint. Mine got delivered in black as well and i just drill them and weld them in. I thought I read they are covered in black weld thru primer. Keep at it!
the black coating is called EDP. it is a primer but not a weld-thru primer, so at minimum you should remove around weld areas and add your own weld-thru. EDP is primarily to protect the body panel in storage. I've seen it flake off some panels in the past, so I decided to strip and repaint myself. Honestly not sure if it was worth the time, ha.
between 4-5. Not too crazy tired of it. The repetitive nature of the welding has worn me down the most. Can't wait to get back to the mechanical stuff.
Congrats on finishing the floor! that's big hurdle. Can't wait to see the recovered seats in there. Keep it up!
Tom- Congrats on the floor. Thats such an achievement, and it looks really good. The carpet will hide all sins anyway.... Rock on
What a job ! what savagery ! but it’s progressing ! go go Tom !
Damn fine job! Always look forward to a new episode. Cheers from here.
Great video, its fun to see DIY work. Agreed on the seam sealer.

On a scale 1-10 how tired are you of working on this car

Looks to be getting all cut out of it and replaced. It’ll be over probably before first snow
perhaps you haven't seen the rear frame rail, ha. I'll be spending my winter in the trunk.
She may not look like much, and she ain't got it where it counts
