Ok, Peter! I've also saw Ross's freq response excellent data. But here she says that the first mode reduces the mids and treble, given the impression of improving bass, and then she clicks in the Volume + button, for "more Bass". The tittle is capcious, but It's ok ;-)!

What this video shows is how to how to adjust the treble level with the phone icon and volume + buttons.
BUT, you can also adjust the bass level with the bluetooth and volume - buttons in the same way.

This is not enhancing deep bass. Rather reduce the highs. See the measure tests of Alan Ross.

That s wrong. If u want bass boost press Bluetooth button and volume down (-) button same time.
