    Great info vid; I still don't understand how and why Stern doesn't install them art blade from factory now they raised the price tag by a lot and even before it makes sense for them to install them without the playfield on. SMFH💯‼️

      I think the LE models have the blades installed but would be nice for premiums too at least!

    Ooh by the way I don't know if you have seen them or not but pinball life has a set of art blade protectors that you slap them on over the edge of the machine and the artblade sodes before raising your playfield to protect your art blades from. Scratches and scuffs.. Like $35 USD.. I picked up a pair and they look like they will be worth it to protect your investment in blades

    • @pinballshenanigans
      @pinballshenanigans  3 роки тому +1

      I have a pair of protectors but I have to say they are always elsewhere (like, downstairs or in another room) so I never used them and so far no scratches and scuffs.

    What's the purpose for the holes on the side of the cabinet?
    I noticed it on a few machines.
    But they're really not for anything I think.

    Hi there! I'm thinking about getting blades for my Avengers IQ soon.. but I've always been terrible with stickers, cell phone protectors..etc.... so its freaked me out a bit.. Are these like stickers? i.e once they touch that's where the stay? It looks like you are moving and repositioning them even after they touched the cabinets though. Thanks.

    • @pinballshenanigans
      @pinballshenanigans  2 роки тому

      You can reposition on these ones! Not all blades are made the same though. If you get thin ones they might be harder to work with!

      @@TiltingT the excalibur is signed by john trudeo and playfeld is nice. but there is broken plastics and very ruff cabinet. the high speed is very nice except for the playfield and 3rd player display is broken. me and my family like fast games so overall i do think i prefer high speed...

      I did blades on white water but I forget where they were from but they might have been Tilt! I have a video of that somewhere! Ahh here it is...ua-cam.com/video/BhBgMDuTe1s/v-deo.html

    • @rizzlerazzleuno4733
      @rizzlerazzleuno4733 2 роки тому +1

      @@pinballshenanigans So, who actually made the Whitewater blades? I see the art is by Brian Allen, but who makes the product? The ones you put on WW do not look as stiff as the ones in this video. Also the Tilt brand ones I have do not mention in the instructions any use of fluid on the blades. Hanging the playfield midway in the cab at 90 degrees is mentioned in the instructions. That may be hard to do in most homes, but you have the exposed beams to tie on to. I have a ceiling fan I might use for support, but the playfield is quite heavy. If you hear a crash you might guess what happened.

    Remove the entire playfield, wires are long enough to set it on a table, hilarious watching people do it the hard way
