Rørosmartnan 2008 - Fra åpningseremonien med Dalakopa og 83 ekvipasjer med hest og slede

Åpningseremonien til Rørosmartnan som går på Tirsdag kl.12.00 samler alltid mange mennesker ved smeltehytta. Det blir holdt taler og det danses og spilles før det avsluttes med at "forbøndene" koemmer inn på plassen med sine flotte hester og sleder. En gammel tradisjon som ble tatt opp igjen i 1981 av foreningen "Forbonden i Kløvsjø" Jeg var på Rørosmartnan når det ankom for 2. gang i 1982. Siden har jeg ikke vært på martnan før i 2008 når disse opptakene ble gjort. Ting hadde utviklet seg til noe absolutt fantastisk. Også fikk jeg hilst på gamle venner i Dalakopa igjen og det satte jeg utrolig stor pris på :-)

Rørosmartnan is a tradisjonal wintermarket in the mining town Røros in Norway and is held in the 3 week in February. The opening ceremony of Rørosmartnan, which are always on Tuesday at 12.00, always brings together many people at the melting hut.The Mayor will say a few words and it will be entertainment with music and dance before it ends with farmers from Sweden and Norway with their beautiful horses and sledges entering the square. An old tradition that was restarted in 1981 by the association "Forbundet i Kløvsjø" I was at Rørosmartnan when it arrived for the 2nd time in 1982. Since then, I have not been to this market until 2008 when these recordings were made. Things had developed into something absolutely amazing. I also get to say hello to old friends in "Dalakopa" again and I really appreciated it :-)
