I think that now that the metro leader is gone, this may present an opportunity for Tim to get back into metro.

Lol. Some of y'all are funny. Yes, girl power & whatnot but highly doubt. Even Lucy wouldn't agree with your statement. It's just him not being impartial after all if anyone knew the risk of getting into the r/ship if it didn't work out , it was Tim being the senior officer, and still broke it off. So Lucy shouldn't have to suffer for it. That's Grey's thinking.
I think it has a lot to do with how hard women have it in the field and if she transfers she would get pushed way down, especially having to leave because she was involved in a relationship with her superior. She’d never catch a break. Tim being higher in command would have an easier transition. That’s my thought. Also she kicks ass and is still a wonderful addition to Mid-Wilshire.

@junbh2 I wouldn't exactly say lately because I mean, it was just that incident with his ex military buddy. Lately implies a much longer time. But yeah having IA open a case against someone under your command or whatever Tim was at metro doesn't speak well for Grey. Liability may be a strong word, but yeah, I get you. Plus either way you look at it Lucy shouldn't have to be the one to be transferred if it got to that which unless one of the actors decide to leave, which let's be honest, wld probably result in the show ending, know it wouldn't.
