Nice !!! Family had a 2nd gen Sprite. this is '70 or so. Not only was it a Time Course trophy winner (AMX's and Vettes spinning out) but could drive there and back,,,only time with me, pacifica to milpitas.. Good memories.
Outstanding accomplishment Bugeye GUYS!!!! Fantastic work, passion and amazing display of dedication. Love what you guys do. My number 1 source for parts, reference and innovative ideas around the beloved Bugeye Sprite ❤👍👊🏼💪🏽
Very nice and thoughtful, presentation, bringing fond memories of my own Mark 1 full congratulations, on your high standards of restoration and bespoke workmanship. *
I would have thought that the earliest production versions of the car would have been right hand drive with U.S. speck versions coming some time later. Superb job on both. Well done
Job Well Done!!! Have to say that I've been waiting for post Conclave updates. We went to Carlisle in 1988 for the 30th anniversary of the Bugeye!!... back in the 80's I met Jay Fishbein from Wallingford ct. He had many Bugeye Sprites in his Collection.
Congratz for both cars!! the detail is amazing!!! Just a pleasure to see both cars!
Congratulations!
Both SUPERB!!! Congratulations to you and all involved.

Congratulations, beautiful details
Superb! Not so happy to took a car from here in Australia, though; you can’t go taking our treasures when we need them here! 😀.
Worth all your hard work, top job.
Well done. Gumby’s windshield is fantastic.
Always had a bug, for bug eyes. Ever since I saw one in the service over 50 years ago. Beautiful job. Thanks for the video.
Great work. Certainly the best "frogeyes" I have ever seen 😀.
Love the teeny tiny wipers! Like to hear your evalution from "Bugeyeguy" to "Bugeyeguys".
Well done!
That is a well earned award for your work. First car was a 1958 sprite that I loved. Good work!
Awesome job !!!!!!!!!

Congratulations for your dedication to detail. I'm still enjoying Dobbs that I purchased from
yuou in 2010.
Congratulations. M.

Great stuff all around
Both cars are very special
The Beetle of Sports Cars....
Congratulations, you earned it.
I bought a NOS set of green mats in 1985 from Don Janda. Have to look in the basement to see if they are still there
Two beauties.
You took details to a higher level ! Great cars, great video ! Thanks, Rick…..🌴
Spectacular. Congrats. Love the contrast between these two beauties!
Congratulations on both of your cars acknowledgments. Very well deserved.
Gorgeous cars in their own right. I love The Gumbi as a great interpretation. So cool. The 501 is beautiful too. Wow.
Excellent. I'm curious if at any point in the judging if you had to defend the accuracy of your restoration of 501?
Congrats
Gumby looks like a mini Aston Martin DBR1 in that colour.Nice job on both cars-Straight cut gear box I presume?
Congrats! I have been following 501 and glad to hear of your success. Both are beautiful examples and Gumby is very well done too. Love them both!
It's interesting that the first car produced was a left hand drive. I guess they were really focused on exporting.
I love both cars, room for both types in the collector car world. What was 501s score? What earned deductions?
... very nice examples. I can see you have struggled with the wonky factory panel fit. That bit is almost impossible to correct.
Hi, what is the tyre size and rim width on Gumby, and are you running spacers?
How much would a car like yours cost?
Congrats on the results, how many points did 501 get from 950-1000?
Very pretty car. Would have looked even better with a biscuit color interior.
'Frog eye' in the Land of their birth!
I had a Michael Jackson bobble-head, on my dash. People called my car a child rapist. I should have bought a Gumby.
