- This video explains the function of this button situated at your car's dashboard. You can turn off the function of Idle Start Stop or also known as Auto Start Stop function in your car. This function is available in most of the recent cars including Toyota Glanza, Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder & Suzuki Grand Vitara 2022.

Mai shock ho gya kyuki meri i20 sportz petrol 2022 mein ye wala feature aur cruise control nhi tha aur ye dono 2024 i20 sportz mein de diye hain ek baat aur chlane mein bhi bahut smooth ho gyi hai 2024 ek kmi hai dikki band nhi hoti jaldi bde pyar se krna padta hai aur window bhi😂

Idle start ki light blink hone ka matlab hai ki wo function kaam nahi kar paa raha hai. But us se gaadi chalaane mein koi issue nahi hota.

Hi Rajesh, har baar gaadi start karne ke baad ye function reset ho jata hai. Apko har bar manually turn off karna padega.

Engine off hota hai to ac bhi off hojata hai kya ?
Hi Shivansh, engine off hote hi AC bhi band ho jata hai, but is function se maximum 2-3 mins ke liye hi ignition off rehta hai and agar vehicle us se jyada time ke liye idle situation me rehta hai to phir engine on ho jata hai taaki cabin cooling maintained rahe.
Sir agar hum slop mai nichy utaar rahy hai nutral krke kya tab bhi engine band hoga.. Aise mai steering lock hone ka dar nahi hai... Plz answer
Hi Naveen, idle stop feature sirf tabhi kaam karta hai jab aa breaks apply karke vehicle ko stop position me lekar aate hain. Agar neutral mein bhi vehicle moving condition me hai, then engine turn off nahi hoga.
Traffic jam in hilly area may affect brake of the vehicle due to switch off the engine?

What if this symbol is flashing
If the symbol is flashing, that means the function of idle stop is not working due to a malfunction.
Kindly let me know i some time see that "idle start stop not avaliable" despite this setting is on.
My car was in:
At red light
No gear engaged
No cluch pressed
No brake pressed
Then why it showed me this message on instument panel
Hi, there are several other factors due to which this feature doesn’t work and that message is displayed. These factors are:
1. The air conditioning system is being used when the ambient temperature is above threshold value (Either too high or too low)
2. Driver seat belt is not fastened.
3. The battery is not sufficiently charged or the battery temperature is excessively low or the battery has deteriorated.
4. The brake booster vacuum is low.
5. The vehicle is stopped on a steep incline.
6. The steering wheel is being operated when the vehicle is idle.
7. Due to traffic or other circumstances the vehicle is being stopped repeatedly.
8. The vehicle is being driven in a high altitude area.
9. Engine coolant temperature or transmission fluid temperature is extremely low or high.
10. The battery fluid temperature is extremely low or high.
Can we change the timing of engine getting stop after idle.
The timing is very less and engine stops even in a slow moving traffic jam.
Hi, unfortunately the timing of idle state of engine cannot be controlled by any setting. This function can only be turned off using the option as shown in the video.

What if we keep this feature ON and AC is also ON then if engine stops then will the pressure of AC come on Battery ?? Is it advisable to keep this feature enable if AC is ON??
Whenever the engine is switched off during idle situation, the AC also remains off and only the blowers blow the air to maintain cabin temperature for a short period. If the vehicle remains idle due to this feature for more than 2 mins, the engine is started automatically to maintain the cooling.
For saving little petrol ac goes off and suffocation starts and more panic is generated during traffic jam which leads to frustration@@LearnerDotCom
