I always suggest people to smell and inspect their foods since it really leads into a lot of food waste when in reality the food hasn't gone bad yet. I get used to eat as I'm always testing myself. Facing your fears is a great feeling even though it's a little thing for others, but for me it's already a stepping stone to overcome them. ❤️ I'm so happy for Annika!
I absolutely can relate to the driving anxiety, but I also have the opposite version of yours. My driving anxiety gets 100x worse if I have passengers, if I'm alone it's still there but at least I don't have witnesses to my anxiety.

If you make miso soup again, you should definitely use dashi. You can make your own, it's very easy, or you can buy powdered dashi that you mix with water. Dashi is also a great mild broth to cook in. Also, the dried seaweed that you use will just get soft. Look for cut wakame and add it to the soup when you add the tofu so it can have time to rehydrate.
Not sure if mentioned before but I had a similar issue when I plugged in a ceramic heater and then elsewhere nearby, I plugged something else and it caused an outlet issue where certain outlets weren't working. I know those heaters actually use a lot of power so best not to plug anything in the same outlet as the heater. Problem was fixed with the breaker.
The way you praise yourself for driving alone made me so happy and taught me that its a healthy and good mentality to have since I tend to forget to appreciate /my own/ achievements, whether they are small or big ones but I'm always so quick and genuinely praising my friends/others.
