I not only tune in to learn something valuable, but I love seeing what awesome guitar you're playing. Seems like you have a really great collection. What is your favorite acoustic guitar?
Thank you! I have two Larrivee acoustic guitars 🇨🇦 they are very good guitars.
Its becoming a fixture for me watching your stuff. Really well explained
Great to hear thank you!
This is a very good guitar teacher.
Thank you very much!
To my ears everything sounds better with minor pentatonic.
My man! 😅
Mixolydian is a cool sound for songs that are like 5-4-(next chord) progressions. When you first see the two notes that get added to the major pentatonic (P4, m7) and mess with it, you're like, "AWESOME! - Something easy to remember for a change!"
Made me realize I need to work on my major pentatonic scales. 👍
Cool, thanks for watching!
Your video's are very helpful I appreciate your hard work.
Thank you very much
Que buena clase Blue, gracias!!
Not sure if this is accurate or not but I was taught in my blues lessons if the song is in minor keys you must use the minor pentatonic scale. If major key you can use the major scale over the I chord and the minor over the IV and V chord. Or major scale over each major chord for each separate chord such as following the chords with each individual major scale. A bit more difficult to do because you must switch scales on the fly.
It is a common place to switch from Major to Minor .. on the IV chord... but not the only place :)
