No! Good god no! Samurai Jack's season 5 finale was awful! It invalidated the whole show.
I love the whole concept of Danny struggling to keep his humanity with his secret identity blown, it adds a whole new dimension to his character. I can just see him digging up the Genie to wish people would forget his secret.

they did, ALONG Time ago, i was a kid Danny phantom was EXTREMELY new around the 2005 it was on netflix for a year... i remember going to my basement and turning on the WII and then going to netflix. i found Danny phantom and watched it, that's when my love for the show started it was only years later i re watched it and found out it was canceled i cried, now i re-watch that show about every chance i get, the animation was beyond good for its time!

Danny Phantom: The College Years could either by a continuation of the original show or a comic book extension of it. or both. I just REALLY want to see this story line. And his "Ghost Loft" could be his own equivalent of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Sounds awesome.

I know this video came out a few years ago but I'm still in full support to revitalize Danny Phantom. There is so much potential with a modern day version of the show. Always loved the art style for the ghosts, specifically Ember and Evil Danny. But I don't mind a bit of evolution in design. I seriously hope we can get the college years and maybe even the adult years where they have children. Plenty of stories to tell but one step at a time I suppose. Thanks so much for the great memories Butch ❤️
I believe college danny should be about him taking More time interacting with the ghosts of ghost zone. Like going out with ember and kitty and having friends and even live in the ghost zone to avoid the chaos of the human world
This video has been out 3 months now, and I'm just at a loss for how Nick has not stepped up to make it show yet. Clearly Danny Phantom has the fandom to support a revival, and it would easily capture as much the new young fans as it would the older millennial crowd looking to tune back in on a nostalgia wave. Chop chop, Nickelodeon! Time's a wastin'!

YES! I was literally just watching DP on Hulu for nostalgic reasons and my 6 yr/o brother came into the room and started watching it with me and was seriously LOVING it as much as I always have! There is clearly so much potential for this show to come back and easily take on the new generation and have the same effect on their childhoods as it has for us. All we need is Nickelodeon's cooperation in either working with Butch to reboot it, or signing over the rights to him all together and letting him find his own creative ways to make it great!

If the show comes back sometime in the future, I’m hoping that the new seasons show how Danny adapts to his new life after being publicly recognized as a real hero and everyone knowing his true identity. Plus see an episode where Danny introduces Danielle to his family and they adopt her as part of their kin as Butch hoped to do years ago had the show continued on after season 3. Also like to see Danny and Sam’s relationship as a couple grow to their eventual marriage and having their own kids if the seasons has time passed as Butch hoped. Also like to hear new songs added for the show that has Danny or his family and friends sing it. I mean the show only had 3 catchy songs, such as the opening theme and 2 sung by Ember.
Also like to see what has become of Danny’s human enemies such as those idiotic Guys in White and Vlad’s former pawns the Masters’ Blasters. Like the Guys in White, despite knowing Danny saved the Earth and is known as worldwide hero to everyone and becomes publicly recognized after revealing his true identity to his parents and the world, they still think he’s a menace due to their xenophobic and delusional view on all ghosts. Thus, they still try to hunt and capture him for some unethical and illegal experiments to exploit his powers and use him as their source for manufacturing potentially and illegal anti ghost weapons that could cause untold destruction if not take precaution. Making it Danny, his family, and friends’ efforts to bring their corrupt operations down for good. Also be funny say if Danny, his family, and friends bring the Guys in White’s operations down and get them all arrested for their extreme and illegal activities, their boss: Agent Alpha, and their top two idiotic agents Operatives K and O get locked in Amity Park’s prison and their next to Freakshow who make fun of their humiliation and their well-deserved punishment. Also for the Masters Blasters perhaps they could become Danny’s new human enemies say after Danny saved the world and become a worldwide respect and known hero to everyone, the former Masters Blasters were shown to have become publicly disgraced after Vlad revealed his true villainous self as Vlad Plasmius to the world, that barely anyone would hire them once they had lost their jobs from Vlad’s company. As such they become vengeful against Danny say they blame him for ruining them via “stealing” the glory of saving the world from the Disasteroid when it was their own fault for blindly trusting Vlad on everything due to their oversized arrogance and greed on getting paid plenty for their “heroic” efforts.

So Danny Phantom The college years has a great ring to it. I would think the plot be along the lines of Danny is finally living a life of being a superhero while being a college student. The extreme attention from everybody is something that would make him feel uncomfortable and put a strain on his close relationships with family and friends (Sam and Tucker). But, his parents finally don't have to hunt him down. The story should be him navigating through college and trying to find a sense of humanity. Another thing would be dating Sam, handling the difficulties of a somewhat abnormal relationship. The villians are another thing! Bringing back Danny's evil future self to fight him would be pretty cool. Fenton University has an interesting ring to it. Could you make this happen within 1-3 years? This would bring back the vibe of Nickelodeon from the early 2000s.

I just finished rewatching Danny Phantom. This is my favorite show as a kid and I would love for it to continue. My one thought though about everybody knowing his secret, can’t he wish from Desiree to make everyone forget his real identity but keep the fact that he saved the world? Let those he’d want to know his secret remember it but the rest forget about his identity?
I hope Hulu can pick this up and continue season 4, maybe start with a time jump to their HS graduation or 1st day at College. Either way would work. I’d love for Danny Phantom to continue for a few more years or a few more seasons for closure...

Make a Villian that isn't a ghost, but isn't human either. I would love to see a more expansive universe now that he is more well known, perhaps there are forces besides the ghost zone and the human world, a third or fourth party, if you will.
A Villian who perhaps is simply something Danny hasn't faced before. With skills and abilities that aren't ghost based that he hasn't ever had to deal with before.
Yes, and if there are other villains in this universe, that naturally means Danny could meet up with other heroes, and learn to work with them.
Wait I have a better idea then my first one. What if when they phased the meteor through the planet some of the ghost plasma radiation, or whatever kinda mumbo jumbo you wanna use , infected humans across the planet and they inherent a diverse range of ghost abilities. Some can fly, some can phase through things, others can body hop and now Danny not only has to endure his new found fame but also take responsibility of all these people developing abilities because of him. Maybe have some organization collecting these people developing abilities and it’s a race to get to them first. Maybe have the public turn against him because of everything that’s happened.

So, when I was a kid, I used to really love watching Danny Phantom, I probably watched all the episodes a million times. I also had the biggest crush on Danny. Having a sequel would truly be a dream come true.
I love this design. It's definitely aged up, but not overly exaggerated. It still looks like Danny, or what he would turn into as an adult.
And the reason why he would be so afraid to lose his humanity would be because he would have PTSD from fighting dark Danny in the ultimate enemy
It would be a great ark to the story where :
Dark Danny would try to make Danny lose his human side by making him feel that he is more than human and Danny would be so afraid to turn into dark Danny
That's sounds a bit close to Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond''s prelude where he used a gun that really compelled him to retire as well as adding The Return of the Joker film snippet where the Joker really laid it out to Bruce after breaking Tim Drake as he mocked him after Bruce told him that "I will break you in two!"
With Danny being known throughout the whole world, this would be a great time to bring back Dark Danny who got locked up in the Fentom Thermos

1) Mr. Lancer swears in more adult book titles, instead of young adult
2) Dash is totally the type to brag about shoving the ghost hero into lockers on a daily basis. If he and Jazz start dating this can lead to funny interactions over dinners
3) Sam, at some point, for whatever reason, ought to phantomize herself. Like how Danny did the secret time. Her sign could be something promoting her vegan/Earth friendly lifestyle. Maybe she has to do it to save Tucker, whose suit is now being completly controlled by Technus/Skulker. Or to save Danny from a professor trying to harvest his ghost powers.
4) image Vlad sneaks his way back to earth and possesses a life like robotic body to avoid being found out and becomes a professor. His secret is discovered when his old gray tabby cat Maddie, who is now the school mascot and hangs out around the university, goes from sweet and loving to angry and defensive, causing Vlad to jump and burn his robot body or spill something on it.
Or even better it just slowly starts to glitch and malfunction until he's discovered.
5) Fairly Odd Parents cameos!!!

@@kylerbelshaw1465 That is true but Tucker being a genius with access to a lot of funds because he is a great mayor that has advanced the town by years ahead of most of the world. Being the good friend to both Danny and Sam finds a way to allow Sam and himself to be a half ghost after a few years studying both Danny, Sam's and him self's genetic make up. While also being able to collect all the required genetic and daily life info to take into consideration the different environmental and hormonal factors from Sam's, Danny's and him self's life to allow him to. That is with the help of some really rare compound that, unfortunately only has enough to turn either himself or Sam into a half ghost but something goes wrong and he has to use it to save Sam because one of Danny's enemies or new enemies tries to get to Danny through the use of Sam since she is Dannys girlfriend now.

It's 2023 rn and I just started rewatching Danny Phantom. I'm already halfway through season 2 and it's insanely nostalgic going back to when I was a kid and excited when the theme song came on. Who else is here in 2023 and still watching these classics?

I would totally watch "Danny Phantom: The College Years" if it were to become a show!! When I was maybe 6,7,8 years old I watched the whole series and I loved it still do to this day i'm 15 now and I still remember every single word to the theme song it would be a dream if there is going to be a new danny phantom series

I would love an continuation of Danny phantom in college years. It was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. I loved the story, art, and characters very much. I also agree that it ended to early and was disappointed when it did. Definitely would watch that!

DBEAST187 i meannn idk Timmy would have to have a backstory he couldn’t just exist and he’d have to lose the fairy family too cause he’d be too old for them but it’s a great concept I can imagine Crocker being suspicious of the ghost world
@Onyx Lundy No, but like yeah! 😱What if the fairy world and the ghost zone were somehow connected and then Timmy grows up but tries to keep Cosmo and Wanda by somehow, like, going into the fairy world but they accidentally end up in the ghost zone, where they bump into (the huge celebrity) Danny Phantom/Fenton and then they become friends and go to school together, just to find out Mr. Crocker literally followed Timmy to Amity Park and became a teacher at the university to try to uncover all the secrets to the fairies AND the ghosts now. And, like, Cosmo and Wanda could disguise themselves as students and help protect Timmy AND Danny from prying eyes, and then all of their friends still don't know about the fairies and that becomes the secret the main characters have to maintain and keep hidden from the world. 🤯
@@GinGin229 There was a loophole in Da Rules which stated that Timmy could keep his Godparents as long as he wishes...so Timmy would still be with his fairy family.
I like you're idea, and Crocker being suspicious of the ghost zone, but the only thing I prob won't like is now how cosmo and Wanda will have to take care of Danny and Timmy, cuz Timmy could just wish the ghosts away instead of having a whole intense fight
College years and 10 years later Danny Phantom would be a good tv show.

Just seen this in 2020, I am a huge fan of Danny Phantom I used to watch it as a teenager on Nickelodeon - Arabia and I still have the biggest crush on him till now. Thanks for introducing the college version of him, I always love when we as viewers can also see our characters growing ..

I saw the first episode when I was 4 or 5 and to this day it's my favorite show. The idea of actually having the show not only continue it's story but also kinda follow me in my college years gives me a smile in all honesty.
Idk, maybe one day you'll try partnering up other animators on UA-cam or something else.
Btw I love the idea of Danny in college that feels like definitely something I could see a new TV series based on as long as Danny and Sam r still voiced by David Kaughman and Grey that'd make it 10x better

You know Butch,in a way the scenario you described on how Danny lives his life in this after series kinda feels similar to how Ben 10 lives his life because Ben 10 also deals with trying to live a normal life but also deals with the pressures of being a celebrity at the same time.

Go ghost again! I have been a fan since I first saw Danny phantom on television. I would love to have the next chapter after phantom planet! Who would green light the show anyway? I'm loving the new ideas. I truly hope it gets picked up as a series or you could make it a UA-cam series. I'm sure Netflix would be interested. Looking forward to new Danny Phantom material. We're rooting for you.
