Very Nice smaller sized Muddler !!! I'll be adding this one to my Trout arsenal too !!! I'm sure our Michigan Trout will enjoy this tasty treat. Thanks !!!!! David, Fisher-of-Men Fly Tying Ada, Michigan
Sir You are such an artist! I admire your job deeply, every fly You tie is done just perfectly. I hope one day I could become such and expert as you. Greeting from south of Chile
Nice! Never used a muddler before but this will be in my box next year, Rough and ready! Your videos are educational, relaxing and entertaining at the same time. Thank you!
That’s a blast from my childhood 😂 I would take that as a compliment which i’m sure is how it was intended. Davie better hope I never bump into him he’ll not be leaving before a pint is had 😂
We love using the rough looking flies muddlers included and they always seem to do the business, when I was a lot younger I used to be on the oars for a couple of old hands out in Loch Lomond and one of them used take out scissors and chop the flies he was going to use and he always said you’ll never catch a thing with the fancy flies and I’ve never forgotten that not that I chop mine but I love these type of flies specially when I am up in northern Scotland so other super video Davie love them 👍👏👏👌🎣
Second tie I Really liked today and this one!!Thank you Davie. more flies like this please, IE not front of magazine ones but ones that catch reservoir fish. But no blobs or eggs lol
For those who dont know the underfur removed from the deer hair makes decent dubbing. Ive tied similar muddler heads, see these flees - and wonder how theyd do in warm water. Pretty neat pattern - adding it to my save list. David Palmetto Fly n Fish

Wonderful pattern to watch being tied, very proud to be the owner of this fly from last months prize draw. Do I keep it or do I use it?
Davie, thank you for this wonderful fly and how you've so artfully tied it. May I ask, how do you fish this?
Great looking fly! How do you get the wax to stay on your finger like that? Such a good idea. Thanks!
