if you read this congrats, heres some drama : remember legion on release day lead by ozen that then colapsed ? acording to ozen in one of his pre release speeches he did at the guild( which the whole guild heard including me) The hundreds legion was actually just gonna be legion, but then some drama happend and they had to come up whit a quick replacement for the whole faction, which is why its probably not that fleshed out, and ozen coped about it every fucking speech, and then the guild disolved and if u wanna know more try getting into vacia.
The authority didnt capture brutus they signed a treaty with the legion and probably received something from the authority in exchange for keeping brutus in fort merit. Brutus could single handedly just walk out of the prison but hes respecting the treaty which is why he is there.

The 100 legions might be something they saving for a western Luminant in a far far away update. I also just realized how much the western Luminant makes sense seeing as Khan are based off of Wu-Kong from Journey to the WEST.
How did brutus get caught by the authority he literally one shots anyone regardless of hp but hes locked up 😭

I was told he was there because he was respecting a treaty signed, the authority asked Brutus to lock himself up and the legion receives something, so basically he was too dangerous to handle that the authority had to make the legion make a deal with them just to lock him up.

they roman so they could add like a colosseum or something and a quest for it which is kind of like trial of one hwere u have to fight certain mobs that have less hp (for example, an owl or squibbo to make it hard) just like gladiators had to fight lions and other wild beasts. u could get a big chest at the end too like crypt of the unbroken

I agree that the Legion has some Roman influence, such as the forgotten gladius weapon. However, I think that the Greeks had more influence on the developers' decisions regarding the Legion.
Firstly, players can obtain the Legion Phalanx Plate, which grants the Hoplite talent and refers to the Greek military formation. This suggests that the developers were at least somewhat influenced by Greek culture.
Secondly, I once saw artwork depicting a scene from the Iliad, and one of the characters was wearing armor similar to the basic Legion soldier armor. It is possible that the developers drew inspiration from this image.

Who knows? Maybe the devs have plans for the Hundred Legions for the future luminants/major updates. My theory why the Hundred Legions don't have a lot of stuff out in the Eastern Luminant is because they originate from the Western Luminant. The Central Luminant (home to the Central Authority) is literally a huge barrier from the Western Luminant to the Eastern Luminant hence why we don't see a lot of them out in the Eastern Luminant.
Summary: We don't see them a lot in the Eastern Luminant because they are too far from home + the Central Authority most likely wouldn't let them have their ships pass nearby their territory.
I just imagine evry legion player or NPC having the oblivion imperial guard dialogue

I think that the legion should have a secret base maybe atop aratel and above for merit. This would show how they are attempting to find out why the authority is no longer upholding their treaties.

I mean at least Polis gives a bit of lore and does things in the Etris raid event but no one remembers that the justicars in general exist
I don't think the legion can do a lot right now considering they only sent the Eleventh Legion to kill the Central Authority and nothing else. They'll probably be expanded on in the Central or West Luminant
Considering they failed miserably at killing the authority considering they’re still thriving to this day. They could make it part of lore that they sent another legion to help and then give the legion their own base made up of that other legion

@@ultraola4588 Keep in mind that we don't see the conflicts happening in the central luminant. They only sent a single legion to eliminate the central authority's presence in the Eastern and Etrean luminant

@@nao7305 those numbers don’t add up. If they had 100 legions. And each legion has 6000k soldiers. Also you realise 6000k is 6 million. So you’re saying they had 600 million soldiers. While the world population in the 1300s were deepwoken is right now was about 360 million. Unless you added the k by accident.
do you think there could possibly be an origin based around them in the future? it would allow them to really freely implement as much lore as they would want to, probably have your idea of the hidden base and the devs could do something similarly to void walker where its an entirely different way to play the game. Like for example- you no longer can progress solely on your own, as the leader of your squadron you have to bring around 2 or more npc's everywhere or simply with some other players, the more players/npcs the more pve scaling you have and exp you gain from progressing with them. You could even add like small skill trees for the npc's so they can actually feel like allies rather than just some random guys that follow you around, you's be able to all share a cut of the exp when someone kills something as well, it could be like day one deepbound all over again. Really i agree with you punchee and i feel like the legion needs alot more love in any way possible. like to be standing up to the AUTHORITY? the big bad boss of the game yet they dont even have a base just makes me sad

the next large update will likely show more of them since it will be the central luminiant were the authority are, there main enemy, but they should still have a small base somewhere
When punchee started saying puns and PUN-chee’ing all over the place i could feel brutus coming inside of me
they prolly come in for a lore update, like a base camp comes in and although still in development, there are many soldiers patrolling that area. You can also get a quest to help break brutus out or do a small quest for money to help with base camp construction. there will be raids happening on fort merit very rarely like the Etris raid. I hope it comes later down the line

I hope that in a new luminant (probably central) we get more lore about stuffs like The hundred legions + The Felinors, Felinors in my opinion are kinda a forgotten race and i think they're the most forgotten race out of them all
No they actually got a buff, khan has been the same since release. Felinors basically have no lore on them, but khans have tons.

This is cool and all, but I just KHAN-NOT believe that The Central Authority didn't get anything too, specifically at Fort Merit. There still Isn't a crafting or mantra station!
yea I was very sad because khan is actually my favorite race and was the reason I though the legion was so cool, and when I saw how little content they had it made me kind of mad, you can find some more lore by reading descriptions of armors and weapons. The 11th legion plate gives you a name of a captain I think.
My ideas to improve the Legion are:
-A Legion Kata mantra, Spine Crusher or smth idk
The Legion Origin would also be a pretty cool feature. In my opinion, players who choose this option would have their spawn point at Erisia and be able to pick Legion Kata as their starting weapon. Their special ability would be The Phalanx talent, which would essentially give a group of Legion players buffs depending on the number of players in the group. The downside would be lower pvp exp

Well, currently I and some friends made a guild that became canon which represents the legion guys. We have talked to many guild leaders and became an official guild

I think that they should keep the khan out of the eastern luminant for now and save them for the central luminant, but once it is released they should add a new oath or legendary weapon that references wukong, so for the oath something about his band or red eyes that can increase your damage but restrict you with something just like in the myth and as for the legendary weapon a pole arm like wukongs weapon would be fire a real fire legendary weapon that has a special crit where it can grow in size witch increases its range and damage but decreases its swing speed, it should also proc your flame type so serpents would explode on hit this will also prompt people to serpents explosion path more

Legion falling off. Before verse two yeah they were like #2 but now all the other factions have been having advancements increasing their strength. The hive already had its hivemechs but now they have stronger elite npcs to handle work in the battle field. The ignition union has arc warder and have been making mecha sharkos. The divers npcs got buffed. The ministry now has even stronger forces. Legion rlly needs to come up with something. And for Etrea... all hope is lost.
Ngl the legion need either an oath or an origin but an origin would be better ngl with sabotages and stuff
Legion orgin*,you spawn at hive and similar to void walker except you go on Sabotage mission, you could do this solo or with a group each mission would have a different level and it would actually impact the game like “save Brutus” could be a massive mission and Brutus would actually be moved

The thing is: since Duke uses the legion kata fighting style, what could he possibly have done for the legion so he could learn it? there is no link between Duke and the legion so how did he learn it?
theory: duke traveled around when leaving etrea before settling in erisia so he found khans helped them and learnt it from them
Maybe The Duke was part of the Legion? Or he could've just used one of his many many books I'm sure he has and studied the legion for like hours on end until he could practice their moves to a T (and lets be honest Way Of Navae looks like a light tap and not a punch so understandable)

how about these "verdant snipers" I've been seeing around? especially the oathless guys and the one dude in floor 2 scouting the city?
could these guys be related to the legion, or are they a separate smaller faction that acts on it's own? I'd imagine verdant "sniper" is just a role, and the faction is actually called something like the verdant scouts.
I'm just saying, that armor is way too drippy for it to have no lore behind it.

@@historicflame972 in concept a faction based around oathless would be cool, like a faction comprised of scouts that just work on their own and observe objectives covertly (like the guy in layer 2 floor 2 thst scouts the city for example). Maybe they could be some sort of librarian faction
