Honestly I think it's been amazing how you kind of take your IRL stress from opening the business, plus being frazzled from Coachella, and put it all into the RP. It reminds me of one of April's earliest adventures when I think she had to put on a performance at Dean's World and was scrambling around, you could tell that you were getting stressed but it just made it so immersive. I think it's great to take a break when you get overwhelmed, and you can easily make it part of April's story where SHE feels overwhelmed and goes on vacation. But just realize that no matter what happens to April, whether she is stressed, or feeling on top of everything, or if the business is struggling, or if it's a huge success, it all adds to the RP of this great character and arc you've been doing!
I love this business arc sm, I can’t wait to see the business relationship it will bring with Flippy, and hopefully we’ll get April & Ramee do some business together with PP & the Gallery 🤞 Lucas is doing so great as CEO, and Carter & Ricardo too.. I think you’re all in need of a break!!
reminder chat/ backseating helps no one!! pressuring your streamer to play things out the way YOU want it is selfish and extremely unfair to Leslie and everyone else who just wants to watch her have fun. If you cant help but backseat just close chat or watch vods, when you comment think about how it can affect the community.
You should take some well deserved rest! I’m sure if the business needs you, anyone can email you. But you also don’t need to be as hands on for this stuff, if it’s genuinely affecting you and ruining the experience you want to have. I understand wanting to know all this stuff because you started up this business, and maybe you feel guilty if you’re not as involved as everyone else. But there are plenty of business owners on the server that aren’t super hands on, and keep up to date with the broad strokes of what’s happening in their business. I don’t think anyone will blame you if you take that kind of approach as owner.
