Great news. Yes get busy living! One of my friends mom was in hospice. She signed herself out had palliative care so she never had pain and she traveled the world for over 2 years. Live Paul ! Live!

Paul, I take your latest news as a positive sign. The blood markers were lower than the last time, and the scan didn't show any hot spots. I agree that you need to keep your mind busy now on subjects other than medical. Having been limited by options the past year must have been extremely frustrating. You are a very intelligent and compassionate man who needs something to stimulate the senses and be productive. I hope you find the appropriate niche to fulfill your days and make you happy. With all my heart, I want you to be content with the present and happy that it looks like you won't have to confront the option of VAD at this time. Hugs of caring and support... ❤

Good news Paul! It was good to see Caroline as well❤❤. I get what you are saying about figuring out a way to live a new normal. We are at that spot with my husband's cancer. He is doing very well now but is not, and won't be, back to his old normal. Neither of us really thought about this time period. With his prognosis being so poor, I think we both thought he would be very sick or not here with us at this point in time. He is trying to create a good balance for himself with the constraints he has but is wanting to get back to working in a way that fits the new mold. It can be challenging but we both prefer that over the alternative. I have no doubt you will find something meaningful that you like to do in the near future.
I sure hope so. I need meaning in my life.....

Great news Paul. The same thing happened to me with my cancer numbers being super high and then when I was retested a few weeks later, they were at least more reasonable and I’m so glad that they’re putting you on the palliative team because you get drugs that will really help with the pain.

Did you know that the most potent anticancer activity is moderate physical activity daily for about half an hour at least and 1h max and a very good diet ?
