You used it wrong your suppose to rub the cleaner on and let it sit and get hard for a couple hours then you use the scrapper to scrape the whole stove

This is a good video, and a good product review. I bought it from Amazon yesterday. One suggestion is that music is not necessary, but if you have to have it, turn it way down, it was annoying to me. But still an excellent demonstration of the product.
