This one is a diamond. Those look so cool with the aluminum fenders, chrome on tank and front mud flap. Power looks smooth and controllable. Bikes used to be so simple and easy to work on back then.

The biggest technological development on mx bikes over the past 50 yrs has been suspension. Must have been wild to race one of these in the 70s when new.

Beautifully restored machine. The early 70s big bore 2Ts were 50 hp in a 20HP bag, which could make them quite "exciting" to ride, and of course 40+ years have passed, so finding a clean one to restore to this condition is rare for sure!
Speaking of early 70's big bore two strokes, I lost my "horsepower virginity" on a '74 Suzuki TM 400 Cyclone. Was 14 back then, 62 now and vividly remember that wheelie filled ride like yesterday. Have had tons of fun on fast bikes over the years, owned a 500cc dirt bike in the 90s a string of liter class sport bikes and currently on a 701 Enduro and 300 XC, but I'm jaded now, there is only one first time 😆

It’s a thing of beauty I tell ya, brings me back to the 70’s riding and racing at Saddleback, Carlsbad & many other great tracks in So. Cal. Oh to have those fun fond days of glory back, damn good stuff…cheers 🍻 to ya! 😎🇺🇸✌️

That is one sick and classy looking bike! Quite sure you were going easy on her riding it, since it was already detailed. I bet she has a ton of torque! Isn't this the same type of dirtbike Steve McQueen rode in Any Given Sunday? He made great novies. My favorite is The Hunter, where he plays a Bounty Hunter. If you haven't seen it, it's worth the watch. ML&R.
