I personally loved the redo of the braid out!! Loved the definition and imo had great volume. I might try a braid out with the mousse after I get a cut. Loved it!
So both braid outs are nice. lol I've been searching UA-cam for a braid out on hair is dry, not wet. I like the way yours turned out. And I love Mousse Def so I will be trying a braid out.
I love the half up half down!! I actually like the refreshed braidout with the definition!! I big chopped in 2021 and am currently learning my hair and what works. I mostly keep in a high puff but really LOVED this look. I'll be trying this one! When showing your finished results, can you show the back of your hair? I struggle with definition in the middle of my hair...
The blown out braid out was totally different! This how my braid out... looks the shrinkage 🙄 but of course it still looks cute! But I'm like you I love volume! The bigger the better!
Im def a wash and go girl but I find when I do a twistout/braidout and its not as fluffy as i’d like lightly stretching my roots with the blowdryer on medium fixes it really quickly

Ok, so I'm NOT going crazy! I recently bought a new curl maker and when i tried it, I was like hmm, somethings off... and haven't used it again since 😬 Why these companies always changing the good products we love 🙄
The curl maker used to be the one gel that would give me unwavering hold, lay my edges down, make my curls pop and everything. And now it’s just like every other gel I use…useless. I love braid outs but can’t get pass 2 days of wear…one day if we are talking about perfect volume and definition.
@alyssa marie. You kept picking it way too much. I was like girlllll..... get you hands out your hair. On 1st day hair. For 2nd day hair....stretch it will a blow dryer...you will get that volume with length with curl definition.

Looks Great! I pin mine up for a few days as it grows. By day 3 it's just right.

I think it looks really nice, It doesn't look like a wig.
I think smaller braids and not touching it so much the first go around probably would have lasted longer.
I do about 7 French braids. Our hair is like antennas 😂

I think it looks fantastic!!! But then again i am soooo not a fan of a frizzy, bushy afro. Love definition, hate frizz.
