Have you discussed getting a tubal ligation? That is what I ended up doing because with a hysterectomy you may have to take hormones. Just offering another option. I have a few tattoos.I want to get my anatomical heart but I don't know how to get an accurate picture. What medications do you have to take?
No, a main reason I want/need a hysterectomy is to no longer have a menstrual cycle. I’ll still keep my ovaries so i won’t have to take hormones. being on birth control for a long period of time isn’t good for anyone, and with me i’m almost at the 2 year mark with my depo shot - that’s ignoring the first 2 years i was on it - as well as it’s making my gain weight that isn’t good on my heart. going through with my menstrual cycle, however, is the worst pain i have ever felt lol. I become severely anemic, and i cannot take any medicine other than tylenol which doesn’t do much. if anything i become even more disabled by how painful it is and how weak i get. There’s a lot of different reasons why i want one but that’s my number one reason. I take aspirin, fludrocortisone for my PoTS, escitaloprám for anxiety and Alprazolam for anxiety as a rescue pill.
