Considering the series has expanded beyond the Kiryu arc, and has once explored what came before Yakuza 1, I feel it'd be a great loss if they didnt capitalize on the characters they've established in 0. Kuze & Awano are really popular despite only appearing in 0. Unfortunately, they're pretty busy with expanding on the new guy in Y7 atm, which seems to be in the upcoming Y8 as well. Even if the 0-Prequel is happening at some point, it'll probably be a while before we get something like that.
