While I get that this is a story, and I did find it super charming and heartwarming, I have one very minor thing that could have been done better. When Anko said she's going to marry MMC and asked who he likes better, as what happens with the little girl characters in these romcom mangas a lot, I really feel the situation should be explained better to the little girl. Very similar to how FMC was saying he should make it clear who he liked better, MMC could have given a real answer. He ummmmmms only because he doesn't have an answer from a strictly romantic viewpoint. He loves both girls equally. However, in a romantic sense is how he loves the FMC while Anko gets his familial love. After all, he literally assumed the role of Big Brother immediately and intends to keep that role. But he can't provide Anko specifically romantic love for various reasons (one of which obviously being an age gap), though he can provide that to the FMC. This is a fantastic learning experience for a child like that, especially when they're talking about marrying a much older guy than them that views them as a sister rather than a romantic partner. You have the chance to explain the difference between familial and romantic love in that moment, giving the child a much deeper understanding of what they're feeling. So many girls grow up constantly having romantic love, specifically, shoved down their throats with princesses and their Prince Charmings or their Barbies and their Kens, making them see any non-familial man/boy as a potential romantic partner. So, when a man or boy who is not explicitly referred to as a male relative shows up and they develop feelings, they aren't aware that they can begin to simply be friends or adopt them as a part of their family, they skip straight to that love being romantic in nature. It would then fall to adults to clear up this misunderstanding in the child's mind. So many romcoms get cheap drama from the two sisters pulling the MMC apart trying to get him to fess up that he loves them more when it could show a huge level of maturity by simply turning to the little girl and explaining that he has a ton of love in equal amounts for both girls, that love is just expressed in different ways. In this story specifically, it could have segwayed into "and that's why I can't leave you behind. You're too precious to me, so don't worry yourself when I'm not around. I'll be coming back soon. And don't wander off and make your sister or me worry again. Do you want us to worry?" Just once, I want to see an MMC step up and take that time to explain it to the child to show maturity (and, frankly, give us more of a reason to root for him to end up in a relationship with FMC because she sees how he can actually step up as a man and a father and explain that concept to a child). Instead, as I had said before, so many just take the cheap drama route with no resolution and the child learning nothing. If you're going to use a child in your story, understand their role. They're not just the cute but mischievous cupid, they're also impressionable little sponges for knowledge and a chance for both FMC and MMC to show their love interest their aptitude for raising a potential child, which is a major part of most serious relationships. FMC did a fantastic job in this story, there's even a whole scene where MMC points out just how much of a mother FMC is already acting like. Why can't we see MMC return that, solidifying them both as the power couple they should be? As I said, though, this was a simple but small gripe I had with the story. The length of comment is from how I wanted to explain my thought process. Otherwise, the story was fantastic and well paced to boot. The VAs as always did such a good job and the editing was on point. Very nice little story!
In today's society as a guy, I suggest to avoid situations like this unless there is a female around and get her to take care of the girl. You dont want the PoPo tackling you..

Just once, I want to see an MMC step up and take that time to explain it to the child to show maturity (and, frankly, give us more of a reason to root for him to end up in a relationship with FMC because she sees how he can actually step up as a man and a father and explain that concept to a child). Instead, as I had said before, so many just take the cheap drama route with no resolution and the child learning nothing.
If you're going to use a child in your story, understand their role. They're not just the cute but mischievous cupid, they're also impressionable little sponges for knowledge and a chance for both FMC and MMC to show their love interest their aptitude for raising a potential child, which is a major part of most serious relationships. FMC did a fantastic job in this story, there's even a whole scene where MMC points out just how much of a mother FMC is already acting like. Why can't we see MMC return that, solidifying them both as the power couple they should be?
As I said, though, this was a simple but small gripe I had with the story. The length of comment is from how I wanted to explain my thought process. Otherwise, the story was fantastic and well paced to boot. The VAs as always did such a good job and the editing was on point. Very nice little story!
