Micheal was/is my friend what more can I say except he could play the soul out of his guitars RIP IRON MAN
I'm really glad I stumbled across this video because if you're a fan of Blues especially Blues guitar this is pure joy right here. Really saddens my heart that both of these gentlemen are no longer here in this plane of existence that is just WRONG talk about a loss for all of us:(
🎸❤️ RIP With Love ❤️🎸
Michael Burks, a guitarist in the top 10 of all time.
Michael never looked happier! RIP. Tnx Lucky for being a good friend to him...... sorry for your loss.
Damn! I just love the blues! This is great!
What a great exchange between two people that speak the same language. The Blues!!!
Had the pleasure of witnessing this greatness. Will always remember. RIP
I saw Lucky on Carson playing B-3 and singing when he was a child! I was then and still am blown away!
Lucky is one of those rare musicians that pull the best from the musicians around him! Love it.
I grew up in a small town that saw a great deal of success in the 70's. A bar on every corner and a band in every bar....This reminds me of those days because there aint nothing better than watching/participating in a blues jam as great as this one.... Cheers !! I salute you. All hail the new king....
you.
Awesome ! Two friends just playing blues ...
I saw Michael in Delray Beach at the Back Room Blues Bar. It was a privilege to have seen him. Going to see Lucky Peterson tonight at Kevro's Art Bar. Don't sit at home when you can be in the presence of greatness that is not going to be around forever.
I also saw Michael at the Back Room in DelRay, a great little place, in 2007. And saw Lucky in Gainesville in 1992 when I was a student at the University of Florida, fabulous show and about 1 AM he played his guitar in the middle of University Avenue and my girlfriend and I followed him outside. Great days. RIP Michael and Lucky.
Met Iron Man back in the early 2000's. Shy, humble, great guy. Cover me in blues! Also great great blues player. What we had in common- uh, snubbed the vegan food truck and loved that BBQ!!! Miss him and wish his band and family all the best! ~RaVen~ really.
😊
Damn, what a combo! RIP brother Michael, we'll keep playing your music forever.
I totally agree...He is a child prodigy...I remember him being 5 yrs. old, and playing the Hammond B3 organ....He made a song called 1234...It sound like James Brown's please please please please...I was blown away...Always the great ones are not appreciated until they are gone....
Absolutely love it!! Thanks for sharing!
Im Glad i heard of this guy micheal burks he was actually the next b.b. king of blues ....
Lucky and Michael..together is heaven to me
While these guys might be the best voices of all time they sure do meld together well and put on one darn good performance - WOW
This is a very good group of musician i love the blue playing
I am sure you both are jamming in heaven, if there is one.
Simply Fantastic .
Never be another one like him. His sound is epic and his blues were real damn blues, not like the ones that tired to play the blues. He would get up at any blues festival and show ever other band there what the real meaning of playing the blues were. RIP my friend.

This is a fantastic musical conversation, a lot of quote, I listened as a bee who is stuck in the honey
Now It is back
Herrlich diese Spielfreude ! Sehr gutes Entertainment.Thx for uploading.
Great show! I'm more familiar with Lucky Peterson than Mr Burks but the "Iron Man" can definitely hold his own on that Les Paul.
Nice fat stinging notes! Makes me wanna go out and buy a Gold Top. The only drag was Lucky's guitar was a bit buried in the mix and he's such a fine player.
Blues faith and joy....great.....:)
So great
GENIOS SIN PALABRAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
