A Day in My Life ~ Daily Vlog ~ Mom Vlog ~ Episode 2 - The One Where We Are Football Parents!

Welcome! Come along with me on my day!
This was a very busy day! My morning started off with making Mattie’s lunch and getting her off to school. I had one morning errand, a quick stop at the grocery store for bulgur wheat, then headed back home, fed the cats, went for a walk, drank my coffee, and got started in the kitchen. I made Zander’s lunch before he headed off to school. I made Minnesota Winter Chili and No Bake Cookies. Yum!
I researched homeschool curriculum to decide what I’m going to use for Griffin’s history this year. I decided to go with Build Your Library Level 9. I’m excited to get started!
I also headed outside to check on my little native plants I have in the yard and did a little bit of mowing before getting ready and hitting the road to go to Zander’s football game. We are in year 15 of being soccer parents, year 7 of being cross country ski parents, year 3 of being cross country (running) parents, and year 1 of both track and football! The kids sure do keep us busy, and we love it!

We have several pets, including a few cats, a hairy golden retriever, a rabbit, 2 leopard geckos, 2 turtles, a 70 gallon fish tank full of fish, and a snake. Our house is not large, and it is cluttered. We have a lot of stuff, both people stuff and pet stuff. You will see laundry baskets full of laundry, kitchen counters full of supplies and small appliances, many many books, lots of legos and games, and probably some dirty dishes and stray tools (as we always have projects going on), and most likely some pet hair if you look really closely.
