My first Lowrider I built when I was 16 was a 78 Buick LeSabre with 13 inch Crowns. And a CCE 2 pump setup. Except I put the front pump under the hood so the fluid would travel quicker and get better response time. I ran 8 batteries and 2 Prestolite Solenoid blocks. I miss that car. That was back in 1995.
@@gmoneychronicles851 actually pretty well I made a pump bracket on the left front side in front of the fender well because the battery is on the right front side. The response time definitely improved over being in the trunk. But with today's technology like piston pumps and all that I doubt it would make a difference but I'm willing to try it again to test a theory. But next time I'm definitely hard lining all the hoses. It was pretty new back in thelate 90's and no shops around here were doing it yet. And we didn't have the equipment at the time to DIY it.
