You guys need to bring a demo by the Kubota dealership I work for . We have been selling a lot of engcon attachments lately and these look really nice with that touch screen computer..! Awesome 👏
Very interesting design. I wonder if you guys could do a cost breakdown over the long term of this design versus the traditional cylinder design? Parts replacement cost. Hours to fail in testing versus competition. Complexity of repair. I really like this new design and would love to to see the comparison! Thanks!
The AXXIS is more durable than the competition. Not just because it doesn’t have exposed cylinders, but also because all the components are in perpetual oil-bath. There are far fewer grease points, and maintenance is far simpler and easier. The housing is cast-iron, and all possible components are integrated into this housing, including delicate hydraulic valves etc. We stock components at our shop. Unfortunately, it is impossible to do a direct comparison - because it is contingent on application / use / operator abuse. We offer a 2 year warranty - which is best in the industry.
Do you guys offer an oil quick style pin grab for these. On the rotator itself and from the machine to the rotator. I do a lot of jobs where the rotator is not needed and preferred not to have on but still gets used a lot on other jobs so the option to just drop it whenever is the breaking point
Hi Talon Brannon, Great question! Yes, the AXXIS Tiltrotator is available with the OilQuick system as well as what is called the "sandwich" style connection. This means the same coupler style is used on the top mount as well as below the rotator. With this set up, you can remove the AXXIS TR when not needed and use your attachments as normal. If you would like to configure the AXXIS TR for your application, please contact AMI Attachments at 1-800-556-9452 and the AXXIS product specialist team will be happy to help you.
WB makes a tilt coupler for the 303 size machines. So all your buckets can be tilt buckets. I got a hold of them and they wouldn’t give me a price because I had to go trough my cat dealer. I think Helac is the company that makes the tilt cylinder that various manufactures use. Steel wrist makes a coupler too but they have proprietary buckets. Plus it’s been hard to get a hold of ami to see if the have anything for the 3 ton machines.
its not made by you. its the NOX tilt made by Kinshofer. existed for 10+ years. yes its narrow. but its also allot weaker in tilting force than the normal tilts. thats why the others dont use this system.
Hi Blubbpower, Thanks for your comments. You are correct, the tiltrotator is called, AXXIS - Powered by NOX. This is to make the connection between Kinshofer and the AMI Attachments AXXIS tiltrotator. Where it becomes different is the top link and the bottom mount. AMI Attachments provides the entire package including the following bottom mount configurations: S-Lock, Pin-Grab Coupler and Wedge-Lock Coupler. The AXXIS Tiltrotator also gives the AMI Attachments dealer network a strong partner to depend on in both the sales and customer service aspects of business. Agreed, the design of the AXXIS tiltrotator - powered by NOX is unique because it does not have cylinders. Although a hydraulic cylinder has more power in the middle of the stroke, the elliptical piston of the AXXIS has consistent holding strength throughout the entire tilt range of 50-degrees both ways. The AXXIS tiltrotator serves customers who do not use a tiltrotator for break-out force applications but rather value the dexterity and the industry leading tilt range. The narrow design without exposed cylinders is also a huge benefit that our customers also highly prefer after having experience with other models. Thanks again for your feedback.

Thanks for your interest in the AMI AXXIS Tiltrotator. The AXXIS TR features the widest tilt range available in the market with 50-degrees both ways. The 360-degree rotation is powered through a heavy duty worm gear that is encased in oil for low maintenance. The most notable difference however is the helical actuator that eliminates the bulky hydraulic cylinders. The AXXIS is more compact and is less prone to damage. The helical actuator also provides consistent and strong torque across the entire tilt range instead of a typical cylinder's peak and valley. The AXXIS Tiltrotator is available with three different coupling styles including pin-grab, wedge lock and symmetrical lock. This makes the AXXIS ready to use with any attachments you already own. Please feel free to reach out to AMI Attachments for more information about the AXXIS Tiltrotator at sales@amiattachments or 1-800-556-9452

thats bs, ive tried ur tilt and compared to cylinder tilt, and ur tilt is so weak compared to cylinders, with cylinders u can fill ur bucket from the side, without the cylinders giving up compared to ur tilt
Good question. The AXXIS TR provides hydraulic power through the unit to power any hydraulic attachments you may have. Any power attachments that have the same lugging are compatible with the AXXIS Tiltrotator.
Hi Samuel Lindahl, Thanks for your insight. Build height is similar to other Tiltrotators on the market and would not have a noticeable difference in breakout force. That said, most contractors using a tiltrotator prioritize breakout force second to dexterity. The model shown features a wedge-lock coupler on the bottom. The AXXIS TR is also available with a pin-grab coupler or S-lock. A lot of our customers already have a certain lugging style and want an AXXIS TR to fit without changing the lugging of all their buckets. Another option that increases height (hence reduces break-out force) is adding a coupler on the top link as well. Operators choose this option when they want to completely remove the tilt and rotate functions and focus on breakout force or severe digging applications. This is also a popular option. Thanks again.
Like it won't relieve sooner right? Seems like a better design wondering why for the money they all don't have dual helical actuators. Also I am about to buy a 9-10 ton machine. We need dexterity half the time. Half the time I'm in the woods! I would like to be able to take it on and off. Like I dont see the ripper tooth or 18-24 inch dig bucket on there clearing lots to make sense!
@@charlesbourgeois9029 Thanks for your questions. The AXXIS Tiltrotator uses two different mechanisims for the tilt and rotate functions. The 360-degree rotation operates using an oversized worm gear. The 50-degree tilt function (both ways) is performed using a helical actuator. For each model of AXXIS TR, both the tilt and rotate mechanisms are matched to withstand the stress and torque that is available from the machine. If you need dexterity half the time and want to disconnect the AXXIS TR completely, the S-Lock configuration on the top link and the bottom coupler provides the most compact solution. Following up on your comment below, the product specialist team at AMI would be happy to discuss all these factors in detail to ensure you are ordering the AXXIS TR that best suits your needs. When is this coming to Australia ?🤔

In Indonesia, there is no excavator that is equipped with the tilt bucket feature
Yeah and from tilt bucket feature it's a long way to having a tiltrotator feature
In sweden, there is no excavator without one.
Because it has no cylinders to cause downtime, smaller dig possible, it will work!
