Yess definitely, the problem with this is that the Background music is not that powerful. However the thing that differentiate this with the MAMA stage is they have more adlibs. I think it's going to be Amazing because background that is powerful, that suit Aaron really well with the ad-libs

@stayzeek i guess because of the heavier bass in the chorus that's why we can hardly hear their vocals. I'd say I prefer the MAMA version more as it emphasizes their vocals and it's so powerful than this. Nonetheless, this is still a banger!

For those who don't know Aaron he tends to like the "noisier" and more EDM type of Kpop music. He found NCT's and Taemin's songs underwhelming at first but it grew on him. I wasn't expecting him to like this since his taste tends to gravitate on very textured and bass heavy type of songs. So yeah, I am sure this will grow on him.
This has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I can't believe my brain just did a flashback of TWICE's evolution throughout their 5 years in just 3:24 seconds...

The performance they did at MAMA was actually an unfinished version of the song, this is the finished version. You can hear a few more harmonies and background vocals in this official audio. When the unfinished version that was live still slaps hard you know it's a bop!

I think the reason why the producers toned down the instrumentals and sounds in the chorus was to give emphasis to the lyrics and their vocals, to resonate with the overall message and to go multi-directional in terms of emotion. The mood of the whole music for me was somewhat rebellious but forgiving, and the person was on confusing stage of her mental and emotional state. In the first verse as I have understood, the person was on rebellious ideas, but on the 2nd, she was already begging or forgiving. Maybe you havent noticed, the color of the bg music video also resonates with the mood. And for me, this was a song that really deserved a MV, and was one of the best or unique song I have heard not only from them, but in my whole music life. And that line in the end literally gave me goosebumps, and indicated that she fell in breakdown of obsession.

For me.. When I watch the MAMA performance it sounds like more powerful and more louder, but in this official audio we heard that chorus part a little bit like harmonized.. Basically, when I watch their performance for the first time.. I felt nothing but the more I get to listen to it, the more I like it! Especially the chorus part.. I love when they sing in loud voice.. When you heard them many time...you will get to know what is HARMONIZED..
