So I’m curious as to whether or not, you have found or experimented with any radiator guards to keep stones from damaging the radiator? I was also wondering in addition to the engine bars have you looked into any bar sets that cover lower on the bike the last question I had was what kind of tires are you running? If you’re planning to do both street and some mild offloading? Thanks a bunch!
I have not looked at radiator guards yet, but it has crossed my mind. Though looking at my radiator it has almost zero damage and with a previous owner went to Prudhoe Bay, AK. So not as worried about it, the front fender seems to have fairly good coverage as well. I have a Givi sump guard/skid plate, and with the upper crash bars I think the engine is well protected for the type of off pavement riding I am planning on doing. Tires are Dunlop Trailsmart tires currently but I am exploring options once these wear out. I ride a lot of pavement and don't do any gnarly off road so some 80/20 type tire will probably be plenty for me. If you have any recommendations please let me know! Thanks for watching!
Getting closer to camping season lol. My kid free weekends have been trash weather wise lately or I would have been out already
I want to get everything done on the bikes before the better weather gets here, despite these few nice days. But then game on hopefully.
