Thanks for a great video as always! My partner and I enjoyed watching it. The renovation looks great - seems they renovated the rooms and gym. The lounge breakfast looks so much better than the lobby breakfast. Although there is more variety so maybe a couple good items in the lobby. But the IHG Strings is so much more convenient for transport. I hate the random rules they don't tell you in Japan - not having your food credit honored for the in-hotel restaurant is outrageous! That must have been annoying. I've learned, even if it's rude, to ask and make clear where I can spend coupons/credits in Japan. Looking forward to your next video!

I just saw other report showed sushi Kenzan doesn’t apply to credit on their IHG Ambassador document. Just no idea why they can’t print one for me. I may go for steakhouse instead. Lastly, croissant 🥐 in the lounge breakfast is truly amazing. Don’t miss it 😍

I booked from Klook but without time slot. So need to exchange the ticket at the airport. No matter book in advanced or not shouldn’t have any difference about the seat
nice detailed review! How would u compare this with the other 2 intercontinental hotels in Tokyo as well as the Kimpton and Indigo? Their prices are quite close but the latter two looks much newer.
Thanks for your kind words. I’ve visited this and The strings, Pier 8 and Indigo Shibuya. Personally I love pier 8 the most since the room are new and larger even it’s classic. Just technically it’s not in Tokyo city. Ana Tokyo is great in overall as I stated in the video. But not good location for tourist. Indigo located at great place in Shibuya. Super convenient for shopping. But… room is too small even the largest corner room.. I hope I will visit Kimpton and IC Tokyo bay in 2025!

Limousine bus stopped right at the hotel in front the lobby. I think you may ask hotel staff to check the schedule for you. Depends on you wanna go to Narita or Haneda. Enjoy your trip to Tokyo !

Haha.. lounge hours are not that friendly to be frank. However HH drinks menu are worth to try !
