Same lol I had to go out and kill a ton of skeletons and spiders
Early game, I go out and kill monsters and break grass.
What this does is get enough seeds for wheat \bread, gunpowder for rockets and TNT mining late game, string and rotten flesh for trading, and phantom membranes for feather falling late game and elytra.
Just lost 10 hrs of progress including this build, 56 diamonds 5 stacks iron a giant farm, a cow farm, a village trading area, and tons of amazing enchants. I fucking hate my life. UPDATE: Got everthing back and more and I went and Clapper the ender dragons cheeks

@CheeseandButter 5 make sure its not on a chunk border and that the water is alternating correctly

@@navewife it does still work it will be because you built your farm on a chunk border the only way to fix it is move your farm to another place and it should work

I have built a lot of JC's farms and watched many of his tutorials. I love the low-key intro, the simple, straightforward explanations, but most of all, I absolutely LOVE how he does the fly around near the end. I can't even begin to explain how very annoying it is in other tutorials trying to see exactly how each section looks to try to make sure I built it correctly. How many times I rewind and watch and try to get that specific angle I need to see. With JC, I just watch his final fly around. It's so easy!

I’ve been playing in survival and doing things manually for a while now, I’ve beat the dragon, got several elytra wings, got a mending librarian, making good general progress. I felt like there was a way I could take my world and base to the next level and this channel has helped in that regard 10 fold. Thanks for the easy to follow and clear cut instructions. Really appreciate the work that goes into these guides and how simple the farms actually are to build when the guide is this easy to follow. For those whose water buckets get spit out and sugarcane farm not working even though it was made exactly like his, to fix the problem you need to take out all the water from the staircases and put water buckets in the dispensers on one side turn the machine on for a second so there is water in the hopper then turn it off (water in hopper should be visable) put water buckets in the dispensers on the staircase side, plant your sugarcane and voila works exactly like his. Hope this helped

Paper is the easiest part of bookshelves. Even a small manual farm keeps me stocked up. It's the damn cows/leather that don't come in quick quantity for me.

What does it mean
@@danielkang2430 The Minecraft World is divided in Chunks which are blocks 16x16x16.
You can check for the chunk Borders at ChunkBase/Apps by googling it.
Your Farm should be made in side of a chunk (no part of the farm's body should be outside the 16x16x16 Chunk)
@@LitKing3k you can also use a calculator by dividing the cords by 16 I believe

Which one is better?
Juan Rendon well, the old one will actually cost lower than this one. But it is going to give you 1 sugar cane in 15 seconds. In here tho, it gives you 4 sugar canes in 15 seconds. But this one is more expensive than the other one.

I hooked the system up to a hopper compost system on the very last sugar cane spot and now it functions as both a sugar cane and bonemeal farm 2 in 1. Thanks a ton for this easy to follow vid.

@@thatguysky5978 I had this problem. All you have to do (if I remember) is get 4 water buckets in 4 of the dispensers and 4 plain buckets in the other dispensers (it might not be correct but I think that’s how I fixed it).

I built 4 of these in my survival world for paper trades. I really recommend building at least one, and they are very effective.

JC, I found out the problem with the sugarcane all breaking on you, one, you do NOT need to worry about chunk borders, two, if you don't put stairs near the far left and far right sugarcane and fill them water.

Brilliant. Build a modified two-module version of this on my realm, where you have to stand on a set of pressure plates in order to activate the farm. It works like a dream.
