Sunnyslope Homestead
hello host met you through grow your channel nice crubby enjoyed
Thank you 😊 welcome to channel and thank you for the support
You did pretty good bending it back. I have a Kubota 1880. I use a pto finish cutter
I wonder if you connected the strap to the front bucket and lifted the bucket if it would have done it better
Good luck. Hope you get it fixed!
Oh lord me too I can’t afford to have it down right now with my yard growing like a mini Vietnam
Same here took the handle for a harbor freight jack, put it over the wheel post and pulled a few times, good as new. The other side has been welded back on twice already
So what you’re saying look forward to more repairs lol
When one roams in the brush doing what you are doing. Highly advised to take off the deck.
Agreed That’s no lie , it’s such a pain to put on though lol
😜 , enjoyed the clip and especially the editing.
(" Inquiring minds want to know") ?
Been missing you ~
Oh I'm still here just taking care of life right now , It's all good
@@SunnySlopeHomestead Got it and more than that, totally understand ! Me too, and so many things to do and no motivation when it's so hot.
Keep hearing your name pop up on Cog Hill so I figured you were still alive and 'kickin. Stay well until you pop up again (like the Groundhog on Groundhogs Day).
That’s how you get things done.
Sort of lol 😆
I did the same thing to my bx25 but I used a pipe wrench with a block of wood and a cheater bar and man power and pryed it out but they do bend easy when you hit something
Wharch this
Well that was a little butt puckering when you was yanking on that strap 😬... The insert clips totally made up for it.. my husband kept looking at me weird because I was cracking up 🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha you should of see Melissa looking at me when I was editing it , I was chuckling 🤭
Have you ever had hydraulic fluid come out of the vent on the rear of the transmission?
over field it. you may have to dump the fueled and redo it. I thank it takes gallon in a half or too.
@@johnhershey4010 Just got it back from dealership The vent valve was defective
Just got mine and am loving it. This reminds me of working the Ariel’s S-16 and the cub cadet when I may or may not have oopsed a few things.
Oh boy Mike! That looks like a pickle. Let's just see what happens here.
Lol what will I do next 🤭
Damn, i gotta thank you kinds of people making these kinds of videos, i really do...
it proves how tough these Kubota BX`s really are by seeing what some of you do to them with the abuses that you put them thru, lol.
I own a BX23s, and i`ve never had a single mishap or problem since i bought it brand new in 2017. But then, i dont beat the sh!t out of mine either.
Maintenance is key. Take care of it, and it`ll take care of you. If you don`t, you`ll miss it when its gone. I couldn`t ever live without mine after having it so long now.
Maybe heat it at the bend and try to put it back in place.
Good Luck Mike !
Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures.
Thank you M Pedmar for the blessing and kind words
Well it turned out a little better and you didn't lose the chingalatty
Also maybe try a large pipe wrench(48”) or so on bottom of lip. And also a cheater pipe on there. Then repaint. Just my two cents
Boom that’s happening thanks for the tip
🙌🙌🙌✅
Instead of using that strap around the tree you should’ve used to come along that way you don’t have to back it up you can sit there and ratchet it out and see how far out you need to come come alongs worked a lot better than people think they do if you know how to use them if you don’t have one I would suggest you buy one cause you’re gonna need it tractor safe
If you're going to do loader work out in the brush why would you have the mowing deck on?
Huge pain in the ass to take off for a quick clean up
@@SunnySlopeHomestead well that's a good answer... But it would really be a pain in the butt if you where to twist and bend it on a stump
I’ve had to bend mine back a few times, I’ve found a chain hook that fits perfectly into the holes on the bottom lip that pull it back out. Unfortunately the lack of support on the chute side is to blame, other than hitting stuff lol. I’ve even snapped off a anti scalp wheel.
Tore one of my boots as well, the boot kit they sell on eBay is pretty solid and easy to swap out. Those oem boots are garbage
Man great advice ! I’m going to get some of those new style boots like you mentioned.
She needs some love after what I put her through lol I’ll be sure to film it next time
It ain’t pretty but it works. That’s how you get things done. Thank you for a another route to fix something when I may do the same thing on new property I bought. And I have a 60 inch deck like yours.
I need find a easier way to put that deck back on when I take it off. I now know better 😂😂😂
Use a pipe wrench on it. Start with a 2 footer, if that don't bend it back go to a 4 footer, if you still need more put a pipe on the wrench handle.
Yes I’m gonna try just that 👍👍👍👍 thank you
