Shower in a waterfall! (I did this this in the mountains in Haiti when I was 14) If you’re wearing swim shorts make sure you tie them on nice and tight though. Otherwise it will be real embarrassing when the powerful cascading water decides to drag those shorts down and they land around your ankles!
both options are great. lol. I am from Burma. I love the tropical weather. I hate mosquitoes though :) Love your channel. People need to subscribe your channel. wishing you and your family all the best!
That was nice Alice. It is good to know such places exist. Keep them coming. Now I want to go to Ecuador. And to answer your question, I would prefer showering in a waterfall after a long day's hike. I do not mind being in the buff outdoors, it's nature going back to nature. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome, Alice! I love hikes where you get just sopping wet. There's something refreshing about being drenched and totally not caring. Always reminds me of childhood. That guy over your shoulder at 2:22 did NOT share your enthusiasm of the rain though. lol. Great highlights as usual. Keep up the epic adventures.
Would be a fun adventure, but a bit expensive for me. At least I'm aware of it's existence, the access it gives to nature at that elevation, things to do, good hospitality, good food, etc. There was a frog in the video, but was that the one you were searching for? What was the ambient temperature (roughly)? Were the waterfalls generated by rainfall or are there higher elevation mountains in the area? I'm guessing rainfall since you were swimming. Very cold otherwise.
2 nights will give you a great experience. I think 3 is the best for a full experience without missing anything but I only had 2 myself and think you find it very enjoyable
Would you rather shower in a waterfall or bath in its pools?
I'd do all of the above. Never seen your videos, but lined this one up to check out. Cheers! Enjoy the travels.
Bath in its pools . I always do both though ; )
Waterfall because it sounds so cool. Maybe someday?! ☺️

It’s generally warm in the 70s, waterfalls from rainfall and rivers, and surprisingly a nice temperature
I’m booked for 2 nights in January 2025 at the Mashpi lodge. I’m curious as to how many nights you spent to get full experience.

How long you been staying there. See any butterflies?
Yes there is a butterfly garden I stayed 3 nights
How much price per day?
